This school gives you classes you don’t need for your course just so they can get more money. When I asked about it I was told it maybe something I would need in the future well if I did I would take it later. I failed something that I really didn’t need. I loved doing the course but I refuse to use loans and grants for things I didn’t need at the time. I would love to start over but I think all my loans and grants are used up and the school had nerve to send me a bill. They should only give classes needed for course chosen.

Richmond Va Campus; Very unprofessional Some not all teachers are envious of some students and will do their best to find a opportunity to fail you or bully you and use their authority against you. One RN called us b***chs & always walked in like a bully, she told us stfu & talked to us like crap. One RN teacher came to class daily as if we were her therapist and vented ab her family and abusive ex husband all class. This same teacher then talked about the students to other students saying“I knew who wasn’t going to make it the first time I looked at them”. She also stated its her duty to make our experience horrible just because hers was.I did great in psychology, and I know that that is projection of how she feels about herself, which is absolutely unprofessional and unfair. There was another RN teacher who came in on the first day, talking about her husband, and how sexy is and how she can’t wait home to go have s*x with him daily distracting us once again, she never introduced herself on the first day of class, and when we asked her who she was I think she got offended. As adults we should introduce ourselves, so she had it out for me since day one, and she was looking for an opportunity to fail me, I never had problems with attendance. I never had problems with my grades. One particular day I had unexpected acid reflex from a Jamaican restaurant next-door that till this day I will never eat again because it was extremely too hot,bit a scotch bonnet pepper on accident.I thought I was fine as I excitedly proceeded upstairs to take my exam.I had no idea during my exam unexpectedly I would have to throw up.My esophagus began to burn, nose and eyes.I ran to the trash can to try to throw up but the trashcan was already full with trash overflowing to the floor.I was choking trying to get her attention ,but she was too busy scrolling on her phone as the other students had stated she was on ********. She gave me a 9% on my exam. She cared less about my airway blockage.

This was by far the worst school I ever attended. Yes, I sound like a grumpy ex student. I am… Bryant and Stratton online program scammed me and placed me in debt. I enrolled at BSC March 2021, I am a full time professional at the same time. The goal was to obtain my degree within 18 months. During my journey I literally was hit with the most complex situation of my life. Did BSC have any empathy towards my perseverance? NO! The dean of students Jean W**** didn’t say two words to me only until it was time for them to send me an academic dismissal. She sent one every semester, like lady! Are you trying to kick me out of school. Each semester I had to fight for my place. I do feel as though if I were another race, BSC would have treated me much more fairly. No, I’m not racist but I felt gas lit, manipulated and spoke to like a child!!! Which is typical when POC express a need of unfairnesses. Trust me! I am all for following and respecting policies but here’s my issue. My grades were fair but because I failed a math course BSC dismissed me for their online program even after receiving an outstanding grade my final semester. Ms.K****** who is an academic advisor, was extremely inconsistent. I could barely get her one the phone to talk about potential resources that can enhance my ability to complete the math course. Emails would go unread unless I sent it repeatedly. The final day of my enrollment, K****** sends me an email THAT MORNING stating my dismal. 2 days before the new semester, my classes were posted , I bought supplies. Unacceptable!!! This should have been a situation you give me a heads up about. Now I am stuck with a debt credit to my name with four months left until graduation. This school is definitely a scam and I did not want to believe it but after observing and assessing the communication and interaction level from BSC ONLINE I can tell it’s a group of woman who plot on specific students. Do better BSC, the students should be your #1

If I could give this college a zero I would this is by far the most worst college ever they lie and force you to go to this school for their gain… I was having kind of a break down because covid hit and there were no jobs and I called and their so called advisors lied they painted this pretty picture of how much of an ease is to learn from online schooling and how the teachers would help with whatever you needed… these classes were horrible no one ever taught them they just assigned a lot of work to do with very little time to hand in assignments… never ever was there a teacher teaching online it was just assigned work with no one to teach… how are people supposed to learn… I got really sick with Covid and one of their vulture advisors calls me to tell me to hand in an assignment… I told the vulture that I was really sick with Covid this vulture asked me when could I hand in the assignment instead of saying I hope you feel better soon… I only answered the phone cause I thought it was my daughter leaving me food by my door instead it was this person asking me to hand in assignments… THIS COLLEGE IS A SCAM!!!… AND SHOULD BE CLOSED!… THIS COLLEGE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!… and at the end you are left with a bill and they get lawyers to sue you and take away the little money that you have to take care of your family. These are just big corporate thieves taking from the poor.

Bryant & Stratton College Systems is a well designed machine that is used to take money from unsuspecting fresh grade school graduates and spit them out broke with no degree. Go ahead and complete your financial aide form! We need more bad reviews to bring this machine down.

I have chosen Bryant& Stratton and wish I would have never with other colleges to attend. I was not told correct information an how they are set up are the most expensive school I have ever attending. I have attended several online colleges and received a refund over $1500 per semester and when I reached out to financial aide they told me I was Lucky to be receiving $12.00 back and because I did not need any books I would receive $249.00 back . I was awarded over $15,000.00 and only looking at $12.00 back. The Staff is rude and not compassion to what I explained to them and How rude they can be. I have NEVER in my life attended a school as such . For me to be in MD and the school is in NY what am I being Charged for. When I asked many times Needing assistance for Black Board because other schools I attended are totally different all they did was send me a video of how to when I asked to speak to someone... Where did the Money is the Financial Aide paying for the employers to work? Where is the Financial Aide and Loan money going to would like help and answers.. They told me if I wanted to stop and withdraw the next semester I would be owing them over $6,000.00 How if I am not going to take any classes how is that possible. so I am stuck... I need help... ******** ****

First off it is laughable that this school is rated A+ by the BBB. I have never heard 1 good thing about the place. Not one. When I decided to go into their medical coding program I was told by 2 prior students not to go there. I have no idea why I didn't listen. I can sum up how I learned to code in one compound word: YouTube. The entire course is prefabricated, the teachers literally read power points to you. Every class you will write several papers and you will go through the headache of citing references. I can assure you that out in the medical coding field this will be completey useless to you. They should have focused more on excel, if anything. I am in huge debt and I have been trying to get answers as to why something happened when I took my CCS-P and failed. No one. Not from the college, Pearsonvue, or AHIMA, can help. Now I have to pay $300 to retake the test and hope to hell I use a strategy that will let me pass the exam. Without knowing if there was a computer glitch, or why all the questions were not included in the 4 hours allotted I'm going in blind. I can assure you I know my stuff. I've watched hours upon hours of YouTube videos. This college has no business teaching medical coding. Run. Don't waste your money.

I use to like this school. I am a student who does not have her degree because of 700 balance, usually they say before you end the senster or even the start. When I re-enrolled with financial aid they never said it was a balance from a prior semester. My graduate year was last year, 2020 can you imagine how hard it was not having a ceremony, then not being able to pick up my degree I worked hard for because of $700. Two and half years of hard work and I don’t have my degree. I am not impressed by that especially during a pandemic when money is tight for everyone. O wait did I forget to mention their is interesting added on to that and I seriously thought about re-enrolling but nope

The DON A******** lacks professionalism and any effort to communicate properly. The entire nursing program is a joke and unorganized. Transferred schools after 2 semesters because I would much rather start from the beginning than deal with this mess. I’m not sure how they are still operating as most of the nursing students do not pass.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It’s important that we receive this sort of feedback, whether positive or negative. We’re sorry that you feel your interactions with the Dean of Nursing were negative and that it affected your experience at Bryant & Stratton College. A review of our records shows successful re-entry to the program and continued achievement in the classroom throughout your time with the College. There are no prior indications of issues or negative interactions with the Dean of Nursing or other faculty or staff. The Dean of Nursing did indicate that she advised against taking on an additional course in the winter 2022 term due to the increased workload in the courses you were already scheduled for. This was done to avoid the risk of being unsuccessful with a heavier course load and negatively impacting your GPA. If you feel your complaints aren’t being adequately addressed, campus leadership is available to offer further assistance. Do not hesitate to reach out via the Student Services department.

Nursing program did not teach correctly. New DON came in my last semester and changed the entire program. Online and in class. Our online teaching recordings had a teacher from Richmond and made our exams that are doctorate levels. The teacher online and the teacher in class contradicted themselves confusing the whole class. Only 3 people in my night class graduated. I begged for help and quit my job to study full time in my very last semester. I did not get help until 2 wks before my finals. The Don was heartless when we expressed our concerns. Now in have no more funds to try again or even try something new. No degree and 47,000 in debt. This school robbed me. DO NOT GO TO THEIR NURSING PROGRAM!!! I completed the MA program there I. 2019 and thought I would be fine with nursing. I was wrong. They don’t care if you pass or fail. They just want their money!!!!

The Mission of Bryant & Stratton College is to offer personalized career education and experiences leading to high demand professions so graduates are prepared for their career and life pursuits. The College has a responsibility to adhere to the rules and regulations as it pertains to the ******** Board of Nursing, ACEN and College policies. The Nursing Program Director at the Virginia Beach campus provided a student-centered approach to instruction and support during this student’s time in the nursing program. The student was unsuccessful in four Nursing courses during her tenure in the ADN program at the Bryant & Stratton College Virginia Beach Campus. The student was unsuccessful in two nursing courses during her third semester and then failed two nursing courses during the fifth semester in the program. According to the Bryant & Stratton College Nursing Program Handbook, a student is to be dismissed from the Nursing program when two non-passing grades are received in any Nursing course. Below is the verbiage from the handbook: Release from the Nursing Program Students will be released from the Nursing Program, with no opportunity for re-entry to any associate or baccalaureate nursing program (ADN/BSN), for any one of the following reasons: a. Student earns a total of two non-passing grades (F) or withdrawal (W) in any NURS course, whether the non-passing grades are earned in the same course or two different courses and regardless of the semester in which the two non-passing grades are earned; Special consideration was given to the student’s mitigating circumstances and she was therefore permitted to remain in the nursing program despite the two non-passing grades in nursing courses during the third semester. An individualized action plan was created for the student to increase success in the nursing program. The plan included tutoring, lab skills and the re-take of an assessment. The student did not take advantage of the additional opportunities for tutoring and lab practice. Despite this action plan, the student failed two courses in the fifth semester. Because of the failures in the fifth term, the student was released from the program. With regard to the student’s claims about the delivery of the nursing program; the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Bryant & Stratton Virginia Beach campus is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Accreditation assures the program follows best practices in nursing education. Additional information on accreditation including the programs status can be found at www.*************** Dr. Rita A******** commenced her position as nursing program director in 2021. Dr. A******** did not make changes to the curriculum when she began her position. The credit hours, courses and curriculum plan remained unchanged. The Bryant & Stratton College-Virginia Beach nursing program has adequate staff to meet all student needs. Nursing program exams are peer reviewed to assure the rigor is appropriate for an Associate Degree in Nursing program. All nursing faculty are committed to student success. To that end, all faculty provide scheduled and open tutoring for all nursing students within the ADN program. Faculty are available face to face and virtually via Teams applications during school hours Monday-Saturday and by appointment on Sundays if needed. The access to faculty provides students with multiple opportunities to seek clarification and receive additional assistance as needed.
