My junior takes AP courses & has dyslexia. Our HS offers a range of courses and pays for exams My girl receives X2 time on assessments. Our school even cancels classes so AP students can take the exams at school (accessibility). That said... Our junior receiv** her testing sch**ule and the *** and Latin exams (3 hours) are sch**ul** to begin at 12pm. I figur** this would mean our daughter would report to school early to begin tests since X2 time would mean staying at school until 6pm. We talk** with asst ********* and learn** that she could not begin her testing until 12pm (no exceptions). The College Board requires students to remain for their ENTIRE additional time so they can't be accus** of denying their 504/IEP accommodations. This means my daughter has to stay beyond the school day 2.5 extra hours. I call** the College Board to discuss this and to hear a bit more about their testing protocol. I ask**, "What if you have students who rely on school transportation and can't make it home after the test? What about students who care for younger siblings or maintain jobs or who have circumstances that prohibit them from extending their school day" No response. The clerk told me that the school's AP director could call CB to discuss my daughter missing a day of school. That's not a solution since the timing is still the issue (would start at 12pm) and she would then have to miss content in courses. Spec ** accommodations are suppos** to level the playing field and not create additional obstacles. The solution seems rather easy... Allow those with accommodations to start early. Nope. That goes against CB's protocols. They don't want overlapping assessment sessions of the same exam (sounds like a tech issue with huge implications for high achieving spec ** kids). If testing security is the concern, it's easily solv** by maintaining a secure testing environment. Being so rigid with when the tests begin, create huge obstacles for vulnerable students.

Negative 5 but cannot due to the B/B/B limitation of 1 star or above. The College Board's website had issues during registration. Accomodations that were approved a year ago are not automatically applied. You need to cleckmark them to be used when registering. Since the website glitched, apparently the checked box did not send correctly to their records. College Board does not provide a record of what was entered for registration so it can be verified. So I paid for a test without accommodations. We only wanted to do the test using accommodations. Without is useless. We found out no accommodations were being provided 4 days before the test. Too late for a full refund. In fact, it is so late that the fee to cancel is increased. Calling is pretty much worthless unless you want to scream and cry. They need to give us a full refund since the issue is completely the fault of the College Board. I talked to 5 different people being passed around. The one rep that was obviously not a native English speaker completely did not understand and passed me right back to the disability team totally missing the reason for my call - refund. I was initially passed to her because the disability group does not have the ability to provide refunds. Her team is the ones that are supposed to have that role. So I talked to the disability team 3 times and the "refund" team twice. I am doubting the final refund team member will actually get the problem resolved. At least he was honest that it was no guarantee. Which is probably a zero chance. Evil monopoly that needs to be split up. Probably can't because they are a "non-profit". An extremely rich non-profit... There is no where else to go for standardized testing for colleges and scholarships. I am hoping the ** test coming up is not totally botched by this company. Oh and they sold my son's data illegally causing a flood of unwanted emails and snail mails. Fined by ******** for this.

******* I spoke with is clearly illiterate. When I explained to him that CLEP uses an unusual grading that is drastically different from the ******** education system. He couldn't understand the issue. I need to have my CLEP scores transmitted to a professional organization that requires them. Even though I scored a 68, which by CLEP standards is a good grade, the organization in question will not understand what a score of 68 means. A 68 by ******** grading standards is a D+ and according to CLEP a 50 score means a C.And even simply explaining the issue as detailed above, the issue still flew over *******'s head.If CLEP wants to be taken seriously, they need to provide table detailing what each score is equivalent to in the ****************** system.

The customer service reps ****** out their ID # rapidly, give conflicting information and are not professional at all. Of all things that can be ordered online, why is it that the manual hand re-scoring must be a mailed in hard copy form with your credit card number written on it? There's no option to email it in securely, either. Just mail it across the country and hope it's received. Then they tell you that they won't notify you that it was even received UNLESS the score changes with the re-score? Sounds like a way to say they re-scored it but then didn't. There was a long sequence (like *************** a row) that were marked as incorrect and/or omitted and no questions were left blank. It seems like it would be a scantron read issue. I paid extra to get the "which questions/answers were marked wrong" and all it gave was a question #. No details on the question or the answer...So I'm supposed to just wait 2 months on the scoring and hope the mail didn't get lost because they don't have a system for marking that they received the re-scoring form and payment? By the way, the website says allow up to 3 weeks from the time the form is received. The person on the phone said wait 2 months. I told him I am trying to figure out if it was received since it was mailed weeks ago. He then said he wasn't even sure what a re-score was. Also, they stay on the line until you hang up so that you aren't redirected to the "2 minute survey" at the end. Multiple service requests and phone calls and every person gave me a different answer. It's super frustrating and actually kind of embarrassing because I thought they were a legitimate organization.

My son received his Admission ticket for his test. The address provided on the test ticket does not match the address of the school listed. So where is my son to go on Saturday? Who knows! The lady did not comprehend English and could not understand the test site address and the school listed are 20 minutes from each other. Clearly our children's information is not safe with the College Board because they cannot assign students to the correct test site address with the correct site name. My son's test site in ********************************************** ***********************

This is the biggest scam run. To cut costs, they went to an online version. So on day one the system crashes so only half the school was able to take the test. The other half has to take it on a makeup day. Then the scores come out, and the kids who took it on day 1 had scores close to what they were projected. The kids who took it day 2 had depressed scores. As an example, my daughter took the **** her sophomore year and got a **** and was projected to get around **** and ended up getting ****. There were kids in the schools gifted program that didnt even crack ****. The school guidance counselor and test ******* spent a day on hold trying to find out what happened. College board was basically, thanks for the money, ***** to be the kids on day 2. Last year was a paper test and at the end you were given the questions along with the answers so you could see what you missed. Now they are online and they dont share that info. You just have to Trust them. There are scholarships awarded off the dumb scores, and now we just have to accept what they say??? Like I said, this is a big scam. Since Covid many schools have gone test score optional and that has cost College board over $200m. I wish we didnt have to care about this, but as my daughter wants to go to medical school it is a requirement for us.

This company is a mess. Explain to me why my 16 year old needs to remember a "phrase" that she created for her acct over 2 years ago. Now as a Jr needing to sing up for AP courses she cannot get into her acct. She has tried the forgot password on their page and she does not get an email. I have looked through her email as well and nothing.I attempted to create a new acct, which she has also done, but it will not work due to their system saying she already has an acct. We also tried creating a new one based off a new email with no luck because its saying she has an acct obviously based off of her name and DOB.So now I have been on the phone for over an hour being told time and time again that they cannot do anything due to needing the phrase, yet when they create these accounts they have to enter and address and parent information. So why can't those options be asked.Basically, my daughter is screwed now because she has been trying to fix this for weeks and today is the last day for her to sign and this company will be used for SATs are you kdding me. I am just now getting off the phone and they continued reading from their script that you should try all possible emails or phrases. I was just informaed as well that for another students whose mom called they at least gave her hints to figure out what the phrase was. I was never even given that.I have notified the school as well to inform them that this company has a C- rating and that they should probably look into a better company that can have security questions and not a phrase or a company that can verify the student acct based off of other criteria they would remember, like an address or phone number.Unbelievalble.

I can't believe this company is in charge of extremely important student tests. I can't complete my enrollment at college until I get my archived AP test score. It took them six weeks to even look at it. During which time I had lost my credit card and had to cancel it. You can not update your payment information over the phone. They can not help you over the phone. They can see your record right in front of them, but you have to MAIL it and then they have to process the actual mail. Their customer service line is worthless. The only reason they're still in business is because for some reason someone has put them in charge of every important test a student has to take so they have us all by the *****.
