This business created a website for my company that worked for less than ************************************************************** they could not reimburse my money because the website worked for the first 24 hours.Business response

The client placed an order with us back on 21st of April, 2022. We worked on their website which went live on June 17th. The client was expected to test everything while we QAed the site as well. A final QA file was issued on June 24th and the project was archived on our end.There were a couple of emails from the client a week later highlighting problems they saw. We couldn't see those problems and asked for elaboration while stating that the project had already been archived and other than minor changes, any major work required would have to be assessed and would be charged.
The client then remained out of touch. They called us on November 1st and tell us there are problems with the site. We told them the issue was with the hosting provider. They refused to accept and wanted a refund. Their claim that the website worked for 24 hours only are unsubstantiated and unfair. We have even suggested making minor fixes to the site free-of-charge to settle the matter amicably, but the client has decided to leave a negative review on BBB instead.
We can't process the refund because the service has been rendered and the project was archived way back in June.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The website was still inoperable. Searchberg did not fix the problem, and they said they would fix the problem if we paid them extra money to fix it.
After they received the BBB complaint, two Supervisors contacted me, irate, and offered tp fix the problem, despite what they normally would do. They contacted be to inform me the problem had been fixed, but it had not been fixed. Parts of the website were still inoperable, and why asked me to change the password.
I would like the complaint to be escalated as it has not bee resolved.In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Last week, I requested work to have my site revamped. After reviewing suggestions provided by the company, I told them that I did not like what was offered, and would like my money refunded. No work had been done to revamp the website.The company then responded by saying I was unreasonable, and they did not see grounds for a refund.Currently, no refund was issued, and no work was started/completed for service.Thanks,*********************Customer response

Used Searchberg for SEO services for the past 2 years. on July 20, 2021, I requested that the service be terminated because work that I approved was not posted to my website for the months of June and July 2021 after I was charged $400 on my credit card for each of those months. On July 21, 2021 I received a receipt that another $400 was charged for work to be completed July 21-August 21. I changed the password on my Website dashboard on July 20th. Searchberg claimed that the posts were not completed because they could not get access to the dashboard after my website migrated to a new hosting company. I was never informed of this "issue". On July 22, 2021 and after I changed my password, all 8 of the content posts that should be a couple per week were posted all at once - basically spamming my content followers. It is my belief that this was an attempt to validate the fraudulent charge and also negatively impact my internet rankings.Customer response
