New tenant on a residential property of Solil. I am being charged a late fee even though I was told via phone that the accounting department will not accept any method of payment until my account is active.July 1st: Called to find out how to make a payment to the landlord. Connected with ***************** from accounting and she informed me that my account is not set up in the system and explained they cannot accept any method of payment until the account is set up.July 13th: Followed up and the account is not set up. July 19th: Contacted ***************** in accounting and she shared that my account is now set up and I can make payments online. She provided my account number to create the account. July 20th: Made payment for **** prorated rent. Confirmation # ****************** July 27th: Late fee in effect for prorated **** rent August 2nd: Contacted ***************** and ********************* to understand the late fee. ***** mentioned that this was an error by ****** and to explain my situation in writing.Customer response
