      I secured an Insurance policy from them in March of 21. I sold the Aircraft in July and notified them after the transaction and the aircraft being registered with the *** in the new owners name.After a long silence (weeks), I contacted them again - told they were "on it" and a refund of $739.00 was to be refunded. Heard nothing again - called them told again it was in process (this is in Sept).I called them again in mid October - told the same thing - I told them I was contacting the Insurance commissioner and told them this was the worst customer service Ive ever seen.2 weeks later I get an email that my refund was credited back on the credit card I used to secure the policy 9 months prior. The card had been closed as per my bank due to fraud in March (unrelated to this). I contacted these folks again and told well that's my problem. I contacted my bank - they said no funds were received - account closed months earlier.Called these guys back - they say they will contact me next day or to to resolve it. Weeks later I'm writing this - haven't heard back again!Now I've been nice so far.... This is the most *****poor service ever. Lying ***** ***** DO NOT use these people

      Buyer Beware. This company is completely unethical. The **************** Reps are poorly trained and will give you false and inaccurate information regarding their Covid Travel Insurance policies. The company will not honor or stand behind the information given by the Service ************ is zero customer service after the sale. If I could give this company "zero stars", it would be exactly what they deserve. I was ticketed to depart ******* on Sept. 30th for a trip for two to ***********. Knowing that Covid may present an issue during my travels, I contacted Starr Companies and purchased what I was told to be a "comprehensive Covid travel insurance policy" which includes a full refund, if there should be a Covid related trip interruption. The cost of this travel insurance was ******. This policy was purchased on Sept. 06, 2021. On September 27, (three days before departure), the country of ****** went to ******* "Do Not Travel" and closed it's borders to *** citizens due to Covid-19. This closure was verified and confirmed thru the U.S. ********** of ****** At the same time, the countries of *******, ******, and ******* went to "Level 3" travel advisory, urging travelers from ******* to strongly reconsider travel due to Covid-19. I contacted Starr Companies on (2) occasions (September 27th and September 28th) and was told both times that should I decide to cancel the trip, I would be fully covered for my losses which were ***** per person which included airfare, hotels, daily breakfast, and train. With much disappointment, a decision was made to cancel the trip, with the assurance from Starr Companies that we would be compensated and not experience any financial loses. On September 30, a 24 page claim was submitted to ACI (****************************.) This is the name of the group which handles claims for Starr Companies. On October 18th, 2021 I received a letter from ACI that my claim was denied. I was in total angst and disbelief at this cold "denial of benefits". It completely goes against the information given, leading to the cancellation of this long awaited trip. I immediately contacted ACI and filed an appeal. On November 9th 2021, I contacted ACI and was told my appeal had been denied. No explanation was given. No apologies. No offer to refund my ****** insurance payment. Nothing. I was treated poorly. Even now, there is no resolution, and no further communications from either Starr Companies or ACI. Stay away from this company and save yourself the financial grief I have endured.
