I give this company a zero rating out of 10. I made a purchase of 4 packages of fabric snaps. I ordered the wrong size and they do not carry smaller type snaps like the ones I ordered. I returned for a refund. Waiting weeks and no response. Called and was told they only issue store credit. No refunds! Buyer BEWARE!!!!! Incidentally , the packages were returned to the company unopened. Terrible business practice.

I find it rare in the U.S. to find a fabric store still standing that's individually owned and operated by family members. While my review is from my personal experience over the past five years, I can certainly understand how incredibly challenging it can be to perform every day for customers and vendors equally. I have grown to appreciate the hard work the employees at Mood Apparel Fabrics do on a daily basis to keep things running so smoothly. Especially Helen, Kristina and Holly. I first heard about Mood from a fellow pattern making student at ******* **** in Oakland in 2017. Every order I've received has been carefully packaged and sent very quickly to me across the U.S. (east coast to west coast). The fabrics I ordered online were of great quality. This included silks, satins, metallic lames and velvets. Out of several orders (under 100), I only once or maybe twice run into a snag, and the customer service team quickly ironed out the issue and exceeded my expectations. So thank you, Mood team. This review is overdue and I hope others will learn to continue to rely on Mood for their future sewing projects.

I paid $188 for 3 yards of silk fabric (TOASTED silk 4 ply crepe). Was sent the wrong color. When I asked what happened I was told the sample swatch was mislabled (but it was on their website and the swatches matched) so this was not true. I was asked to send a picture of the fabric and the swatch to them via email which I did - clearly showing that the fabric I received was NOT the same color that I ordered. I was then told that they would send me a ***** mailing label so I could send the fabric back. This label never came. I emailed again and was told they would send me a *** mailing label which also never came. Then, I get an email from them asking me how I liked my purchase of SAGE silk 4 ply silk crepe!!!! I don't trust this company anymore and will never buy anything from them again. I am concerned that I won't get ANY fabric back from them!!
