February this year I went to Esthetix to receive dental implants. I paid five figures for my dental work. My insurance company told me that for any additional work, they could possibly help cover some of the cost. I went (April 9th) personally to Esthetix and they refused to even deal with my insurance (which is accepted by them). They urged me to apply for a loan for the difference in the amount for future dental work. I refused because I know it will cost me more due to the interest rate. They still tried to convince me to apply and, again, I adamantly refused. I also asked how much longer before I have my new top teeth as it's now more than 60 days since the procedure began. I also told I won't need future work from them because I can't afford to pay it, and that I would seek services from a dentist that is more affordable. After I said that, I was told I will not receive my top teeth...which I already paid for out of pocket and in full! I couldn't believe it! How can they refuse to complete my procedure, especially after I paid for it. They were so condescending and dismissive to me...they even told me to *** them cause they're not going to finish the procedure. After going back and forth with them I left because I didn't want things to escalate. I was so excited to get my implants. It took time to save the money to begin with and not to mention the boost to my self esteem knowing I could smile again without hesitation and embarrassment. Esthetix has set me back so many paces and to treat a patient with such disregard and disdain is unacceptable. I have the right to go to another establishment if I don't like the services or costs in this one. Now I have no upper teeth, will probably have to *** for my payment, and I still have to find a new dentist. What Esthetix is doing seems almost criminal and they should not be allowed to do this to people.

I went online and saw the advertisement for this Esthetix Dental Spa thier invitation is well crafted until you find out the price which is outrageous! you get a free video meeting with the dentist to see your mouth and teeth to see what they will work with, they then will ask for your information to see if you can get pre-approved< i think my mistake was giving them all my information licenses and also my ss number which i never give but for preapproval it is need. They said that i was approved but then they ask for a credit card to charge me 99 dollar's for the appointment that is when i got uncommittable and i told them that i was not interested in the service and that ****** Dolars is too much money, so i told them that i cannot afford it so i had to think more about it cause that was too much money for me to pay. A few days later i received letters from banks informing me that my loans were not approved. I contacted the banks and spoke to an officer that i did not requested nor consented to request loans for any purposes. They did a search and found that the Esthetix Dental Spa requested the loans on my behalf without my consent. This to me is unethical actions and a very fraudulent action on thier part they should be investigated. I did contact them but as usual give you the run around and make you feel that they can do whatever they want and then they hang up on me. The financial officer on my first call did not take my call. I am ************************************************************************************************** be aware of thier unethical practices. this has to stop> they do not have any right to request an actual loan without anyone consent. Very fraudulent

This establishment the i put all my trust in caused me more harm with giving me dental implants I saw this dentist for the first time in April of ****************************************************************** the neighborhood and was very familiar with the location i put all my trust in this Dentist to perform and complete a dental procedure that cost ****** thousand dollars to which put me in debt with four lending companies and a monthly payment of over a thousand dollars which was the majority of my income due to the fact I live on a fixed income, however I went from wearing temporary teeth for almost a year causing me pain and discomfort and problems with my speech and just recently i received my permanents and still I am having pain and discomfort due to the fact the permanent teeth are to short and it looks like I have no teeth all during this process i felt judged, discriminated against, and scammed for money based on the fact at ever appointment this dentist was always asking for more money for services I did not ask for. In observing how he dealt with other patients of ********* and white people they were treated quite well. But due to the fact I am black and how my teeth are now, I was treated unfairly by this dentist and his staff. I would have never thought that I would experience racism in an establishment like i did and I sit here today trying to figure out how this can be corrected with my teeth, however i will not be returning to this dentist and I will be filing a complaint with the ******************** of Dentistry.. One more issue i would like to add is that i developed TMJ which is a form of lock jaw and an infected implant and I can not eat properly which is causing me to lose a tremendous amount of weight due to these implants and teeth which is causing my entire mouth to be offline. this whole entire process has put me in a deep severe depression, My teeth and smile are a big part of my character and it was destroyed by ***************************.
