      I have had nothing but problems with the New York Institute of Art and Design.I attempted to finish the course for 5 years but it has been close to ****.Problem #1 the teacher takes forever, weeks and weeks to answer. When you think you did great, and you put all your effort she kills you with her comments. I have never gotten a decent comment, its 100% criticisms.Problem #2 nothing explains your delays. If life happens you lose a person, lose a job or anything serious they dont care, too bad.Problem #3 this is a Certificate not a Masters Degree. They require the same amount of work I put in towards my Masters.Problem #4 They wont extend and ofcourse they would never refund 1 cent the student is always wrong.Problem #5 Each project asks a, b, ,c and the teacher expects a-z as well as it has to be according to her. Your opinion is trash.Problem #6 you cannot do anything like sleep, according to them 24 hours a day you need to work and that is impossible Problem #7 there are so many issues its impossible to enjoy or finish the Course Problem #8 if you write to the school to withdraw they dont care

      To Whom It May ***************** welcome the opportunity to address *** ********* concerns. ******************** enrolled into the Personal Style Course on March 4, 2018 by submitting a signed enrollment agreement and down payment
      Ms. ********* enrollment agreement stated she had 18 months to complete the program. If the program was not completed within the 18 months, a one time courtesy extension could be provided. If the program is not completed within this time, if available, the student can re-enroll into the program and have another 18 months to complete the program.
      While reviewing *** ********* account, we can see that we provided free extensions in the past. On March 1, 2023 a final 3 month extension was provided to *** ********* account. The program must be completed by July 4, 2023.
      A review was done of all project reviews and ******************** was provided compliments along with constructive criticism. Examples and explanations were provided to ********************. An email was sent to ******************** on March 1, 2023 to discuss in detail.

      Started online school there, a couple months later they notified me they were closing but I still had 24 months to complete my schooling. When I made it to bring *************************************************************************************************************** to pay. I couldnt complete the course and no one would answer my emails about the last book needed. Now they have deactivated my account because I stopped paying tuition due to them not sending the course material. Im asking for a refund. I notified them in July and told them I was going to have to buy it myself but I couldnt because I couldnt locate that edition

      ************** completed *****% of her program. After reviewing ************** account, on March 4th, 2022, we confirmed via email, the shipping of her book. ************** was mailed her Medical Comprehension book on March 9th, 2022.  ************** did not reach out to confirm she did not receive her book. Due to defaulted payments in July 2022, *** ************ was deactivated. ************** can reach out to student services directly to inquire about how to make her past due payment.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I recieved the medical comprehension book as stated. Why I did not receive and what I emailed them about is the cpt professional edition book needed to complete the lessons. It is the cpt code manual. I have the email I sent them in July and the automated reply they sent back. Again that is attached so they can not say they wasnt notified. They dont send you all the materials at once. They ship them when you get to that unit its needed for so that book would not have been shipped in march

      Student ID: ********* I have requested an extension due to being sick with COVID-19 and battling after effects of COVID-19. I was told that even though my account is paid in full for my classes that I will need to pay another $150 to have an extension. I felt like my whole world is falling apart with $32,000 in hospital bills from having to be admitted and now I have to find another $150 for a class that I have already paid in full. I would really like to have more time possible another year due to my energy level to finish my classes or receive 1/2 of my tuition back since Im on the 3rd chapter. Also, I was having issues with chapter 3 and set an appointment with an Educator but they never showed for the meeting and never replied to my emails. If I am grated an extension I would really appreciate someone getting back with me with questions on how to make the project in that chapter, right now the system is not accepting appointments . ******** Institute of Art and Design ************************************************

      To Whom It May ***************** welcome the opportunity to address *** ******* concerns.**************** enrolled into the Jewelry Design Course on January 14, 2020 by submitting a signed enrollment agreement and down payment.
      **************** was provided two years to complete the program.Students who do not complete the program in that timeframe can purchase a 3 month or 24 month extension. On December 17, 2021, **************** submitted an email asking for a free 6 month extension due to COVID. The same day, *************** was sent a reply stating we hoped for a speedy recovery and advised of the free 6 month extension that was being applied. **************** was advised that the new expiration date is July 14, 2022 and could view the update on the students profile page.
      I sent an email to **************** on December 20, 2021 and advised of the extension approval that was already provided. I have not received a response as of December 21, 2021.

      Thank you very much for your quick response. I have spoken with an educator who called an gave me an email and number to help me when I need help. I was not able to go over my question with her during the call because I did not have my materials available also during the my cardiologist called due to surgery that I am having on 28th of December but I will be getting back with her after the holidays.  Also the schedule to speak with an educator now  appears available.  If possible I would like up to a year to complete the course because due to getting sick I now have a trimmer in my right dominant hand which makes it difficult to hold small items. My doctor stated that this may go away on its own but could not give a time frame. Due to hospital bills I really do not have extra funds as I did before getting sick to pay for extra time but I would really like to complete my classes. Your help and understanding during this time is greatly appreciated.

      I bought the professional photography course online and I am not happy with the product. Also had a problem with them saying that I couldn't get a certificate without sending them a high school diploma, which was not specified when the course was bought. Many of the links don't work and the course is not worth the money for me. I see on their website many complaints regarding the course material as well... I would like to get a refund since it wasn't what I expected and I had not been warned about the certificate. Also, I used a friend's card to get the course for me so I would like a refund on my card or PayPal instead. Thank you!

      I welcome the opportunity to address *** ******’s concerns. *** ****** enrolled into the Professional Photography Course on September 22, 2020 by submitting a signed Enrollment Agreement, Enrollment Acknowledgement and payment in full. I will include a copy of the enrollment agreement
      The very first section of the Enrollment Agreement that Ms. Silvia signed and agreed to outlined the transcript policy.” Admissions - Minimum Admissions Requirements. NYIP students must be 27 years old or have completed High School or equivalent and submit evidence of completion within 30 days of enrolling to continue studying “. I did review the sections that *** ****** started and I was not able to locate numerous broken links as claimed. I did discover one outside link that had expired and put in a request to see if the company changed links or updated their site. This was not a Distance Education Co. LLC link.
      If *** ****** were to withdraw from the program, *** ****** would be responsible for the contractual Cancellation terms. If *** ****** were to withdraw as of June 21, 2021, a refund of $457.50 would be provided. The refund must go to the card that the payment came in on. If the original payment method is no longer valid, a bank letter stating the cc ending in xxxx was closed and replaced by card ending in xxxx, or was not replaced by another card. The letter must be on bank letterhead, signed and dated. If the original card was closed and a new card was not issued, we could then issue *** ****** a check. We are unable to refund to another person’s card or paypal account. We must follow Merchant regulations. *** ****** can reach me directly at ****************************** in order to discuss cancellation and the refund.
