      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Quality Auto Services at **********************************, due to a theft incident that occurred on June 14, 2022. My 2016 ******* ****** SE was towed to their shop for repairs, and due to a mistake by the towing company (leaving the keys inside), my vehicle was stolen from their premises.Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact Quality Auto Services via phone and email without any response. This lack of communication has exacerbated the distress caused by the theft. Below is a summary of the damages I am seeking compensation for:Pain and Suffering: The stress from this incident has caused physical complications during my pregnancy, resulting in medical bills and ongoing pain. I am requesting $10,000 for pain and suffering.Lost Wages: I missed five days of work due to the situation, amounting to $1,160 in lost wages.Uber/Lyft Fees: I spent $202 on transportation due to the theft.Diminished Vehicle Value: The theft and damages have significantly reduced the value of my car. I am requesting $15,000 to cover the depreciation.Towing and Repair Costs: I incurred costs for towing and repairs that couldnt be completed due to the theft, including $654.12 in fees.I am requesting BBB's assistance in resolving this matter, as my attempts to reach the shop have been unsuccessful. I seek a fair settlement for the damages incurred. If this issue is not resolved, I will consider legal action.Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response.

      My car was broken into, vandalized, and totaled. It was towed by AAA to Quality Auto Services *** on Monday, October 16th. We were told to leave the car at the garage by the company until the adjuster came to look at it. We werent notified again by the insurance company, Geico, for another 10 days to be told that we were not covered for the loss and the insurance company wouldnt be able to issue any payment. Today we tried to get the car back but are now being notified for the first time that there was an $85 a day storage fee, another $175 towing fee to get the car towed out to the street. We dont know how to handle this situation. We cant afford to get the car towed nor pay the hidden storage costs out and we cant afford to get the car fixed. Were at a total loss. We just want to get the car out and get the car scrapped. We havent paid the business anything yet. My name is *********************. Looking forward to your response.
