On April 2nd Allen Roofing was employed to do work on my neighbors roof of ** *********** ***** ******* ****. This is a town home with a joining roof to my property. We were unaware that any roof work was being done ,until we had a knock on the door at 730am to move our vehicle's out of our driveway so they can do there work. After returning home from work later that evening. Right from the road as I pulled up to my driveway. I see the horrible work they did to my neighbors roof. Leaving my roof with damaged shingles and one of the worst over lap jobs I have ever seen. After my disbelief I asked my neighbor to ask the company to return ,and fix the poor work they did. My neighbor and the contractor did return to my home .We had a brief conversation and agreed the work was done completely wrong and rushed due to impending weather that day. The employee Alex agreed to come back and fix the issue. On Thursday April 11 Alex and his crew returned to correct the work they did on the 2nd of April. To my surprise the repair was worse than the first time. Causing the value of my home to go down, the repair I now have to pay ,when my roof never needed any type of repair. My home and I are victims of horrible contractor work. I have made multiply phone calls and emails to this company and no one will return any points of contact I've tried to make. I have taken multiply pictures of all the work that's been done. We would just like are roof put back the way it was before this all happened. You can see the work right from the street when you pull up to the properties. If they just did the work right the first time this would not be going on. After 2 attempts my roof needs to be corrected. We have had multiple roofing companies come and give us estimates to fix the work, telling me that the work done by Allen Roofing was done incorrectly and needs to be repaired right away. If there is any help the BBB can provide for my family's home and help protect us from poor contractor work would be very much appreciated. Thank you for you time.

Allen Roofing replaced the roof of my building last year. After, the skylight leaked and the water damaged the paint. When called about the issue, they were a nightmare to deal with. The owner had a non-responsive, we-do-not-care type of attitude. It took 2 tries to get it fixed and they refused to fix any damage inside (discolored paint). The first fix was silicon caulk still visible around the edge of the skylight. That repair did not work and looks terrible and seems to be permanent and is something you can see when looking out the skylight. My landlord has a heavy accent and asked that I talk to the owner of this company. My landlord said Allen Roofing "took the money and ran." The second fix stopped the leak. My landlord was so fed up he personally supervised the hours-long second fix. They stopped the leak, but broke the skylight (it no longer opens) and the inside of the unit was not touched. From the inside of the unit, I can still see water damage on the paint and silicone caulk on the glass. The whole process was a nightmare. This company needs to fold.
