On 10/23/2023, I had an appointment with an employee of Faddegon's Nursery. I paid $100 for this individual to come to my house, review and discuss a landscaping job, and send me a written proposal (an estimate) for the work to be done. As an aside, I had never paid for an estimate for any home repair work before in my life. Someone came to my house, looked over the job (including taking measurements), and discussed it with me. He proposed an additional $250 fee for a computer-generated simulation of a part of the job. I agreed to consider that, once I had an idea of what the estimated cost for the project would be. I never received the estimate. Subsequently, I made several attempts to contact Faddegon's to get the estimate. I was informed by this "landscape specialist" that I was confused, i.e. that the estimate for the project required the additional fee of $250. To me, that smacked of a " bait and switch" ploy. Understandably, I no longer want Faddegon's to do this job. However, I continued to pursue this matter, asking for a refund of the $100 I had paid. I was assured twice that my money would be refunded. To date, that has not happened. That is why I am appealing to you for help.
