I dispute the validity of this debt with Allegiant Capital Recovery LLC as I have no record of any contractual agreement or business dealings with Allegiant Recovery LLC. There is no documented proof of this alleged debt, including any signed contracts or agreements bearing my signature. Until such proof is provided, I do not acknowledge any obligation to pay this debt to Allegiant Capital Recovery LLC. They need to cease all collection attempts.Business response

Good afternoon,In response to ****** *****'s complaint, we are answering. On July 2, 2024, Ms. *****'s file was transferred to our office. We are a third-party organization that works with files that ******** ******** ***** LLC has outsourced. The customer was notified by email that their account has been transferred to our office and that the remaining amount is due, which was our only means of communication. Debt collector fails to accurately account for my payments. Have made monthly payments and continue to receive calls and emails threatening further action. Have made PAYMENTS on time via their online pay for 3 months now. They continue to accuse me of non payment again threatening further action via phone and email. Business called me and was extremely rude when I asked to be removed from the call list. Said I cannot be removed and kept berating me about a “******** ******” Asked to speak to supervisor and she was already speaking, Kelly. Who was insanely rude. 12/11/23. Contacted my daughter saying she was my point of contact blatant lie. Told my daughter they couldnt leave a voicemail because my voicemail was full. Another lie. Caleed my phone 15 times in 2 hours but never left a message. I do not owe them anything nor have a received any bills in the mail from this company. This is a scamBusiness response

This company has been calling me, my spouse, my grown children (who don’t live at home anymore), and even my parents who are elderly and do not live with me, and even my place of business for the last several days! I’ve also received several emails saying they’ll give me 60% or 50% off but it’s only good for one day or “Our client may recall your account any day.” I feel this is a scam. They need to stop leaving unprofessional, misleading voicemails about something being urgent or we need to speak immediately, especially to my elderly parents, about debt that I do not have information about. I would like the harassment to stop. They do not have permission to call my employer, family, or me repeatedly. I think this company is fraudulent, manipulative, and very disrespectful, and I wish to have these claims dismissed, and all phone numbers to have no further contact from anyone in this business. They need to cease collections and send proof of debt, original creditor, amounts and any other pertinent information in the mail to me. I would like whatever this is to stop.Business response

Hello I receive 2 emails and phone calls from this company. Not only that they also call my Job. When I return the call I stated to never call me job about anything. This lady name Kelly at ###-###-#### was very rude and stated that I owe money. Number 1 never call my job about anything personal. Number 2 if I owe anyone i would have receive a letter. Number 3 when do people start sending emails about money being owe. I did state if she continue to email or call my job that I would file harassment charges on her and her company.Business response

I Called the Allegiant on7/11 at 10:45 am I spoke with a lady named Kelly who stated that I owed a debt from 2016 from a company called ***** ***. She said that "***** ***" the originators had some files in a box sitting for years and decided to sell it to a third party but the third party didn't want to spend money reporting it to the credit bureau because its a fee and they didn't want to pay it so they reached out to Allegiant which is her company to seek payment from me. I received a random email stating final notices which is a lie. Kelly stated that her company should probably word that better and that they would do better. There has not been any calls or communications from this so called ***** *** or Allegiant company stating I owe them and if it is I need to see documentation and for them to say final notices knowing they hadn't called is a red flag. When I asked for proof of the calls and proof of the loan she stated she could try to get it and she would send it by email if she could. They sent me a final notice and then the next day sent a second notice. She couldn't give me much information. The lady stated the loan was from 2016 I just find it hard to to believe the originators would wait almost 7 years to come for their money. When you call the number they don't even state the company name or anything. They just answer with hello. The emails do not have the same information. They sent a pdf that has an encrypted attachment warning that could not be verified. It say to enter the last 4 of social but you can type any numbers in and it opens with a bunch of crap attached. Kelly tried to scare me into paying by saying that they would report it to my credit by the end of the month if I didn't pay what I owe. I do not wish to be contacting by them and I do not want this reported on my credit.Business response

I am writing this letter in response to the BBB complaint number ********. I have sent this complaint to our Compliance Department for further investigation. We are taking this matter very seriously and doing a complete review of the incident in question.
Based on our records, Ms. ***** did in fact have an account here at one point in time. However, our collection efforts were limited to only letter notification and calls. At one point, Ms. ***** spoke with an agent and discussed repayment of the account in question. Upon learning of Ms. *****’s complaint to the BBB, we have closed the account on our end, recalled the account back to the rightful owner of the account. Additionally, as it was explained to Ms. *****, Allegiant Capital is not a Credit Reporting Agency. Thus, we have no control over her account being credit reported or not.
To satisfy your request we have removed all the numbers. At this time, the account has been closed on our end and information forwarded back to our client that placed the account with us. You will not receive any further contact from our company.

Me my family and even my roommates have been getting phone calls from this company about debt that we do not possess and about debt that is not ours. My family is on the verge of dying being in their upper 80s and 90s with confirmed diagnostic dementia memory loss and being unable to work and having next to nothing. Phone calls started coming to them and all it is doing is stressing them out and worrying them about something that's not even ours. Me and my roommate have been receiving phone calls very late at night constantly harassing us from people not introducing themselves who they are or where they work or what they want but instead leaving unprofessional misleading voicemails about something being urgent with your family and we need to talk as soon as possible. I think this company is fraudulent manipulative and very disrespectful and I wish to have any of these claims dismissed and have all of us have no further contact from anyone in this business or any more claims against us.Business response

Today, I received a phone call Kelly about a loan from **** **** which was supposedly taken out in 2015/2016 and paid for one year. I asked for documentation and was told to call **** ****. This issue was going to be placed on my credit report then Kelly hung up. The banking information provided was for an account which was closed in 2014. I want my phone number removed from your database and removal from credit report.Business response
