I booked a room for the Hudson Valley ************ through ********** on Friday September 17th to check in Sept.18th and check out September 19th at a cost of $157.When I arrived the hotel was under renovation. This information was not on the site. Carpets were being pulled ** in the lobby area. The smell of must and mildew were strong. I am asthmatic and immediately felt discomfort. I was told it was just downstairs the rooms were fine. That was not the case. The hallway and room were also old and musty. I had an event to attend and left. I returned about 11:45pm. 1. Internal lock on door didnt work. 2.Fridge didn't work, 3. TV didn't work. 4. No hot water. 5. Room telephone didn't work. 6. Ice machine didn't work. 7. Musty linen & old pillows. 8. Musty couch in room. 9. Holes in hallway ceiling with a bucket underneath. I told management & *********** No refund or concern. The hotel should be shut down till they are ready to provide an appropriate environment.Customer response
