A scam! I kept getting letters from them stating that they high light accomplishments of Nurse's and will be including me as TOP Registered Nurse representing the area I live in...I gave into their so called published edition of the "Gold Program" costing me $189.00, along with 1/4 page with other world wide leaders. Lie! I never received a thing! and later, when attempting to call and cancel or find out anything else, I spoke to a ****** and she was unable to do anything except cancel the monthly fees of $39.95, they were going to charge me for being a member! *********************** was another one who ran this scam, making it sound so honoring for this front line Covid nurse to be published! I filled out the required items they asked, and I was supposed to get 1/2 page printed of a copy of the published book! Never received a thing!Review from Kaydee W

I kept getting calls from this number and 9/28 around 8:50 am it started calling repeatedly. My mom was having a medical procedure so I answered just in case. The conversation started out by saying I had been nominated for an award for Top Nurses. She gathered all of my personal information about my career and my schooling. She said I would be named in an online book and they would send me a plaque and then I would have this prestigious award to show to help get jobs, etc. After, she collected all my info, she then went on to explain their platinum and diamond memberships and the prices. After she explained them, she wanted to know which membership I wanted to purchase. I never contacted them and I told her I didnt want it. She said she would put me down for platinum and I could upgrade later. I kept saying no but she was persistent I was missing out. I finally hung up. Had to block the number to stop getting calls. This place is not American nurse association accredited so that tells me that they are a scam.Review from Jamie M

Very simple This is a scam association with no legitimate use to nurses. Years ago they contacted me and kept me on the phone for probably around an hour. They said how I had amazing accomplishments and they wanted to recognize me. At the end of the call, the INA rep then said I had to pay for the recognition and award. Nurses out there, you NEVER should have to pay for an award or any kind of recognition! After hearing the outlandish prices, I realized this was just a scam and they expect me to pay for a sham award. Afterwards, I almost had forgotten about this company until they fraudulently charged my credit card their monthly membership dues years later. How this sketchy company got my card information is beyond me?? The unauthorized, fraudulent charges were reported to my credit card company and I promptly filed a complaint with the BBB. Only after taking these actions did INA finally refund my money.Legitimate nursing associations do not charge nurses for sham awards/recognition. I am only writing this review years later after realizing this scam organization is still in business. My wish is that no other person falls prey to their unethical and fraudulent practices.Review from Cristen B.

I was contacted by INA several times. I finally decided to pick up today. They went through this long conversation about me and my accomplishments. They offered me to join as a platinum or diamond member. I replied do I have to decide this now. She said yes, in order to publish my bio. So, she said I will give you the platinum 640 and I will throw in the plaque you get as a diamond member. I foolishly agreed, while the whole time thinking it was fishy. I started thinking more and more about it, and realized I just got scammed. So, I started researching the organization, and I found that others have felt like it was a scam. I tried calling the number back several times that was given to me for my account director, and now I cant get anyone to answer. I would like to cancel and possibly be refunded. I dont want my card to be charged random amounts for an award. The International Nurses Association Response

We spoke with the consumer on 1/20/22. She stated she filed this review in error. It was another company she meant to write about. She also stated she had no issues with our organization.Review from Barbara F

I was contacted by INA and informed that I was "nominated" as a nurse leader and they wanted to honor me by putting me in their magazine. They asked me questions about my nursing background and career. After collecting my information about work history etc. they told me that I needed to pay over $800 for a lifetime membership with this organization. I became suspicious and informed them I would not be able to move forward at this time and decided to end the call but they already had my personal information. My bank card was charged and my attempt to contact someone has been a failure. My card was charged this month, 10/5/ 2021 in the *** of $41.35. I have not authorized any such charges. On my charge card it is listed as INursing, *****, **, no contact info. The International Nurses Association Response

I have directly called this company in on 4 separate occasions to cancel all affiliation with this company. And again they have charged my account. What part of No Thank you. Is not understood. I will be researching the legal aspects of this situation as they have clearly violated my rights to cancel my membership subscription after it was requested on multiple occasions, currently 4 months to be exact. The International Nurses Association Response

This company does not deserve any stars. Yes I did contact them originally, thinking they were a legitimate organization honoring nurses. After a lengthy "interview", I was "selected" to be a "top nurse". I fell for the flattery, paid way too much money (and why are we paying to be selected as an outstanding professional anyway ???) Obviously anyone who calls is a "top nurse." I had regrets immediately after the phone call and called back to cancel my subscription. I received a call back the next day with the hard sell and pressure not to cancel. I had to repeat myself and insist multiple times, speaking with two representatives before they would agree to cancel. My credit card was not refunded for days, until I contacted my credit card company and protested the charge. Do not fall for this! They are a disgrace to our profession. **** **The International Nurses Association Response

We have reviewed the consumer's account and found that her credit was, in fact, processed in a timely manner at the time of her cancellation back in August of 2020. It should further be noted that we did not receive a credit card chargeback for this charge as the credit was processed beforehand. If she has any further questions or concerns she can always contact our Client Services Department directly at ###-###-####.
