Dear Better Business Bureau Team,I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent CNA clinical exam administered by REMOVEDon March 28th, 2025 at Access Career in REMOVEDDespite thorough preparation and a strong performance, I believe I was unfairly graded. I was marked down for errorssuch as indirect care and leaving the resident on the side of the bedthat I did not commit. These mistakes more accurately reflect the performance of my testing partner, who was examined just before me and made several notable errors. I suspect there may have been a mix-up between our evaluations.Additionally, the REMOVEDappeared distracted during the exam, raising concerns about attentiveness and fairness in grading. I passed 4 out of 5 clinical skills and completed my written exam successfully. I was well-trained by my instructor, REMOVEDand consistently supported my peers in preparation.I have reached out to Prometric four times via email and was told to expect a response within 710 business days, but I have not received any update. Im simply asking for a fair re-evaluation of my performance and assistance in resolving this issue.Thank you for your time and support.Sincerely,REMOVEDCandidate ID: REMOVED?? REMOVED?? REMOVED

      Hello BBB,
We are in receipt of the complaint and would like to make you aware that Access Careers has nothing to do with the results determined by Prometric Testing.
Our school is a Testing Site and on certain days, Prometric, which is the testing agency retained by REMOVED(REMOVED), sends in their employee, also called The Procter, to administer the licensing exam to become a New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
The exam consists of two sections. The first section is a written examination on the computer where the student reads the questions and clicks on the best answer.  The results for this section are displayed at the end of the exam with either a pass or fail result.  The results are evaluated by Prometric and we as a school are not able to access the results, only the Tester can see the answer.  The second section is where the student is required to demonstrate 3 nurse aide skills to the Procter to show competency in handling patients in a nursing home. The Procter evaluates the performance and is solely responsible for sending the results back to REMOVEDto be recorded.
Our school has nothing to do with the testing procedure.  We are just a site that REMOVEDuses to administer the exam.  The Procter is not an employee of our School and we have nothing to do with the results that are determined by them.
If you read REMOVEDtestimony, he  has actually praised REMOVEDthe instructor that is an employee of the school, stating that she has prepared him so well for the examination.  We see no reason why the complaint is directed towards the School since we are not the ones to evaluate his testing results.  REMOVEDshould direct his complaint to NYSDOH REMOVEDsince they are responsible for all evaluations and results.   At this time I am requesting that the complaint be removed towards our School and be redirected to the correct agency. Please let me know if  I can be of any further assistance to you in helping resolve this matter between REMOVEDand REMOVED
      Sincerely,
      REMOVED
