Horrible business practices, crooks, insincere, and poorly managed. I put a deposit down on a 2019 Jeep Compass with 4500 miles. The night before I was going to purchase my car I received a phone call from the manager informing me that they sold my car. This is illegal. I was told my money would be refunded to my credit card. When my money was not posted back on my card I called the dealership, and it was like pulling teeth to get a manager to help me. Finally after calling 3 times I got a hold of the used car manager. He told me I had to go back into the store to get my refund. There was no apology for their mistake, he was rude, and acted like this whole thing was my fault. Had I not checked to see if my money was returned they would have stolen my money. I asked to be connected to the GM or the owner to place a complaint. I was given a run around, and never spoke to anyone higher up. At no point did anyone reach out to me and try to apologize or try to make this right. In the NY Metropolitan area there are hundreds of different dealerships. I highly advise to use any other one, and not deal with these CROOKS.

Dear ***, I completely empathize with you that the timing of our refund to you was unacceptable. You should not have waited as long as you did to receive your “$300 HOLD”. We have no intention or desire to hold customer money if transactions fall through. I’m sorry your information was not transferred to our GM or owner to follow up with you. It is clear to me that our process was not followed and for that, I apologize. I will email you a copy of your refund receipt. We are not crooks. Your Buyer’s Order lists your name and contact information and the vehicle you had interest in. There is only one other thing written on the Order – “$300 HOLD”. The Order is not even signed by you, evidencing any form of commitment by you to purchase this vehicle. Nor is the Order signed by us, evidencing any form of commitment to sell you this vehicle.
