My fianc and I frequent chosen island ************************************************************. There are 3 chosen locations chosen village and garden were amazing and have excellent service. However this complaint is about chosen island in 5 towns. Never in my 26 years of going to restaurants and just interacting with others have I have seen such a lack of respect and utter verbal harassment from a manager of an establishment to a frequent customer. We visited ******************** island probably 2-3 a week for the last 3 months paying between $80-100 every time and never creating any problems. However the manager and I use this term very loosely because she needs to go to school and learn how to be a manager as well as have anger management classes so she can better assist the customers. She has verbal harassed my fianc and I not once but 3 times. The first time we had asked to change a meal because the chicken tasted rancid and spoiled she proceeded to yell at my fianc and he said absolutely nothing to her and after her scolding him like a child she changed it but with an ultimatum stating she will only do this once. Then we came again a few weeks later actually afraid to run into her and she specifically singled out our table and TOLD not asked but told him to hang his jacket even though he was using it and no one else was next to us so it was not bothering anyone, but when she saw another customer drop his jacket she picked it up and dusted it off as if he was a family member and proceeded to yell at us and say if you dont like it leave. I was totally and utterly confused we said absolutely nothing to her and were eating our sushi and she came to pick a fight with us. She verbally harassed us began to yell in front of a full restaurant of people and we took our food to go and left. She refused to speak to us for some sort of compromise. She verbally harassed us and I have contacted my lawyer and am ready to proceed with further legal action until she refunds my money and calls to apologize.Customer response
