I hired all American Van Lines, located at **************************************************************, for a small move from *********** to that ******** on 7/26/22. I was given an estimate of $1350 from ***************************. I sent her pictures of all the furniture that needed to be moved. It only entailed my bedroom set, a couch, 2 living room tables, 2 chairs, 3. barstools, 2 TVs, a TV stand, a microwave cart, a fan and approximately 25 medium boxes, each of which were labeled living room or bedroom. Any box with anything breakable was clearly marked fragile. The job entailed disassembling and reassembling my overhead bridge and night tables in my bedroom. The company had pictures of all the furniture and the estimate of $1350 that I was given factored in the time to deal with my bedroom set. The movers showed up unprepared and claimed they had no idea how to take the bedroom set apart and didnt even have a drill with them! At that point, I called Tali and she said, Every truck is equipped with a drill and, between you and me, they just dont want to deal with it. The 3 movers spent over an hour discussing the problem. They spent time calling for help and in the interim, did things very slowly. They were not even paying attention to what they were doing. I found 1 man wrapping up a chair, that I had already said was not coming. I watched another man wrap up a coffee table for 20 minutes. Ultimately, they had to wait for a 4th man to come with a drill. By the end of the day, they had been with me for 7.5 hours. After they left, I found 2 stacks of 4 boxes each, piled to the ceiling in my bedroom. A living room box clearly marked fragile was at the bottom of one of those 2 stacks. Many irreplaceable items were broken. In addition, they chipped my armoire, bridge and glass shelf in my bedroom, and broke my fan. This small move wound up costing $2296! I was clearly scammed. I paid over 11k during 9 years to store my hottub. They vandalized it. Stole everything off of my tub and gave me a shell of a hotub back. My tub waa filled with dirt and boot marks in the tub. They stripped my tub of all its components then denied everything. They told me I gave them the tub in that condition. I have 3 witnesses when their guys came to pick up my hottub. They will attest to the fact that there was nothing missing from my hottub when the guys picked it up to put into their warehouse. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!!Review from Sarah E.

Started getting a quote on 9/29/2021 for a move on the first of November. My 3 questions were - Do you have your own trucks? Answer yes. Do you have your own drivers?Answer was yes. Third question Does my belongings leave the truck? Answer was no , only if something happens to the truck or they have to rearrange the truck Our truck was scheduled for November 1-3. We moved a few weeks before. So the week of October 25 till November 2 nd (when our truck arrived). I called and texted to get a final count. Was told ** would be notified. All week long. Sunday the 31 st they called to notify me they would be there on the 2nd i told him ** has not called for a final count. He said the should by tomorrow (the day before pick up). He called back Monday I told him I still havent received the call he said it was fine they could do it. This same day I called *****(who I called and texted all week ). He said he texted them thats all he could do. Now I knew I had more stuff and that it would be more but if they wouldve done their jobs I wouldve new the amount before they arrived So the day of the pick up the movers were over an hour late (try to get someone to see if theres a problem,not a chance). Drivers finally arrive (a brokered truck not theirs) the movers were ****** because we had more stuff Told them that dispatch was aware of this because ** never called. They settled down did the final count and estimate. And were ok not great after that. The next day ****** called about the truck being late. A day later. We could move into our new place on November 8th(at this point theyve had our stuff for a week)I started calling ****** asking when we could expect delivery she couldnt get ahold of dispatch all week long. Thursday I asked where my stuff was she said in a warehouse in ********** or Georgia ( remember my stuff would never leave the truck). Friday I talked her still nobody contacted her. She doesnt work the weekends but told me I could text if I got anxious (shes the best part of this company). Saturday my fianc gets a call theyll be there Sunday between 10-12.(They never told this to ******.) **** got ****** because nobody told them it was a third floor( check the paperwork. I paid extra for the extra flight of stairs). When they arrived another brokered truck and more movers with bad attitude. All my stuff arrived some was broken and scratched up but my fianc could fix it with less attitude. Went to pay them. Charged extra for stairs ( I already paid for). Left ALL their moving trash in the kitchen. This company lies and doesnt not communicate within their own company. Making this a horrible experience I wouldnt hire this company again until they figure out how to communicate amongst themselves. Now I know people say why should I believe this review. Because I want nothing from them I overpaid because ** never called. I overpaid be cause the last movers said I had to pay for stairs which shouldve been on their paperwork ( I did show them mine)I want no refund or compensation for my broken and damaged items. This company is a complete scam. Originally gave us a quote for $2500. Told us they would arrive Monday to pick up our belongings. 9:00 PM Monday Even called us and gave us the price of $3500. They arrived the next day and charged us even more. We removed items from the truck with the assurance that this would lessen the cost on the delivery day but we still had to pay half of the current invoice at that time. Once they had our belongings we did not hear from them again. It is now 7 days past the delivery date and no phone call goes answered or returned. No email has been responded to. It is impossible to know where our stuff is or when/if it will be delivered.
