On Friday August 20, 2021 I checked in to stay at Berkshire Travel Lodge, which I booked through booking.com. I was supposed to stay through Sunday August 22, 2021. They told me my dog could stay there but I had to pay $50 in cash. I paid $272.14 on my debit card for Friday through Sunday. The room that they gave me smelled horrible of mold and smoke as soon as we walked in. The sheets weren’t clean, there were bugs on the walls and the bathtub and towels were also dirty. We tried to find another place to stay that night but there was nothing available. We tried to sleep there that night but the breathing conditions were so bad due to the mold and cigarette smell. I was repeatedly coughing and felt really sick. In the morning I told them the room was too moldy and making me sick and that I needed a refund because I couldn’t stay there another night, he told me there was nothing he could do and that I had to get in touch with the manager, who I have not been able to reach at all.Business response

Thank you for letting us know about ****** ****** case its totally out
rages she was upset cause she need to pay pet fee shw was assign in room
which is not pet friendle we have some room degignated for pet purpose
even though we assign her good room there is nothing wrong with room issue
she made cause she try sneak pet in room with out declearing pet & she had
to pay pet fee.
