I leased a vehicle through a dealer from ********** in December 2021. The terms of the lease were supposed to be 39 months @ the agreed upon price of $497.97, for a 2022 ********** Taos. My vehicle was supposed to be delivered by the agent on 12/7/2021 at 530PM; however, the car wasnt dropped off until 9:30 pm that evening. The vehicle was delivered by a young girl who works at the leasing company who knew nothing about the agreement whatsoever. She handed me documents (leasing agreement) to sign in the dark, on the hood of my **** ******* even leave me with a copy of it. She advised me that it would be scanned and emailed to me; but it never was! In addition they took back my old car (a 2019 **** Fusion). A few weeks later my first statement from VW arrived and it showed I had 47 payments remaining for my 4 year lease. This was clearly incorrect so I called VW & also notified the dealer at ********** immediately. VW explained the dealer would have to correct this, & explained to me how. I passed this information along to the ******* **** agreed it was incorrect & said he would take care of it. He has done no such thing. He will not deal with me anymore & referred me to the manager. The manager advised me They would pay for the remaining 8 months upfront (to reduce the lease term from 48 down to agreed upon 39 months) however, this option leaves me with no choice but to keep the vehicle the entire lease ***** *** lose the option to purchase it after my 39 month lease term is up. Ive also been advised by VW that my lease agreement indicates the vehicle is worth $37k (info given by the dealer) when the sticker price and paper in my car shows my car was only worth $29k at the time it was delivered to me. VW will not assist me, they keep referring me back to the agent: & the manager of the business has stopped taking my calls. I need help!

Dear ****************,  We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. Upon delivery of the vehicle, you were at full liberty to inspect the vehicle and review all paperwork before signing and taking possession of the vehicle. The terms of your lease are clearly stated on the very front page of your lease agreement which you signed. We have attempted to resolve the situation with you, and offered to cover the 9 extra payments in total of $4481.73 and return the vehicle to us after your 39 month lease was fulfilled, and you declined. You had let us know in a phone conversation that you intended to use that payment to gain it as profit to trade your car in with another dealer because you no longer liked this car. Unfortunately it is not possible to void a legal contract between you and ********** Credit. Additionally, the **** of the vehicle does not equal to your buyout option should you choose to buy out your vehicle with **********. You can refer to your lease agreement if you  have any other questions about the terms of your lease.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      [Your Answer Here]

Their response does not help me in any way & they are lying; I dont want their money, I am not trying to extort them, I just want my situation rectified  Im fully aware that I signed the contract however the terms were not the same as what we agreed to  I sent text message screenshots between me and the original leasing agent telling me the terms were 39 months  NOT 48!  There has to be something else that we can do. The numbers just dont add up and its unfair to take away my option to return the vehicle earlier than ************************************************************************* back to.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
