This business is a flat out SCAM. We ordered a brute bunk bed from NationalHomeStore.com and it took nearly 6 weeks to arrive (which was the least of the problems). The bed arrived and was advertised as being fully sanded and ready for stain. There was an up-charge option for them to stain which we did. i just wanted to put it together and have it be ready. What arrived was very rough unsanded splintering lumber with sloppy stain put on it. It was completely unusable in its current state. We emailed customer service and we asked if they could give us a partial refund because I was more than capable of actually sanding and staining the wood properly. Jonah (the owner) immediately got very defensive and said he doesnt do partial refunds, we could either return for a refund or keep the bed. Luckily we kept all the packaging and opted for the return. the return process was very frustrating. Jonah needed a picture of the repackaged bed and refused to send the labels until it was packaged to his liking. I told Jonah that this was a poor way to do business and i would reach out to the BBB if he didnt send the labels. Needless to say he sent them finally and the packages are returned and the refund is on its way. i will NEVER buy anything from this company again... a warning for other consumers they have a fee websites... **************, nationalhomestore.com, and nationalfurnishing.com.

********** finest! Should have known these people are scam artists. Ordered two adult bunk beds, one queen over queen and twin xl over twin xl. I literally DID NOT receive the twin xl bunk bed, and a bunch of lumber we could have bought ourselves with no pre-drilled holes or customized to the specifications we ordered. We received a bunch of extra parts that had nothing to do with our order and basically had to build the bed from scratch ourselves. We could have bought better lumber and just done it ourselves from the get. They go by the name of NationalHomeStore.com and NationalFurnishing.com which is why it is hard for people to find them on here. Jonah is a complete jerk. Their "warehouse manager' is likely Jonah by a different name. He doesn't exist. He doesn't return calls, they are rude and they STEAL people's money when THEY can't get the order right the first time. If I was in ********, I would be paying a visit. Instead, I will be filing a credit card claim and I also intend to take them to small claims court. It isn't even about the money at this point, somebody needs to make these people go through the same frustration they make the customers go through. I'm happy to do that! I have all the evidence in the world to win this case and I will be winning.

Are negative stars available? This was the absolute worst experience ever and the reason I am so wary about online shopping. The order was delayed, Jonah never reached out but when I did he gladly made sure to take my money immediately. Then he never shipped the product. I had to reach out again and advised to cancel. Then he held my refund hostage. I tried emails and phone calls. Over the phone he advised not to call him again or he would not issue a refund. I finally asked my bank to handle the issue. It took almost three months from beginning to end. I wish i would have read reviews first. There were so many advising how poor the workmanship was, how horrible the customer service was, and how they were still waiting on refunds. How is this company still in business?

JONAH IS INCREDIBLY RUDE!! The website is extremely misleading, DO NOT BUY from this business. All you'll get is a "sorry you feel that way." I sent in an order for a custom height loft bed. The regular is 69 inches and I ordered one for 71 inches which incurred a $45 fee. I get an email from Jonah stating that I have to purchase the extra tall (83 inches) for $100 in order to have my loft customized to that size. I let him know that the website does not indicate this AT ALL. There are no instructions stating that I have to first purchase an 83inch leg and then also pay for a customization fee. He gave a bunch of short responses after I told him I feel as though the website is extememly misleading and I'm being double charged. And that I was disappointed in the service. His response was "Im sorry you feel that way." Steer clear!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY HERE. The seller just lies. Bought a bed with a pop up trundle that was supposed to rise to the same height as the bed so that they could be pushed together to make a king bed. The heights were different and the bed frame kept the mattresses apart. The seller first said they should be the same height and then just said that’s the way it is. Totally false advertising. These beds should never have been sold as a set. Offered me a refund if I could somehow ship back two super heavy (and now assembled) beds.
