      I was contacted by Craig W******* in reply to an inquiry on *****'s for a roof replacement in early Feb 2023. He was at my house within a week to give an estimate for work which I accepted 2/14/23. The work was done within a week. I had the roof replaced specifically to fix an issue with leak around the chimney which he inspected. After the roof completion which i paid over $14000 for including gutters the leak still exists. I have reached out by email 4 times with one reply stating someone would look into it. At almost two months later still no reply or resolution. Billing mistake also made with the lending company which was resolved. Very poor communication after work completed, was not notified roof and gutters would be separate project days, had to reach out to verify gutters were being replaced with gutter guards. I would like the leak repaired and better communication from the company.

      I had a chance to talk to Jeremy and we made arrangements to perform a water test on the chimney so we can determine if the flashing or the chimney itself is leaking. We will repair any issues that are due to any leaks under the scope of work of our contract.

      All State completed a roof replacement on our house on 7/28 and 7/29/21. Total tear off and replacement. Prior to that I had specifically shown the sales Rep, H**** a particular section of the roof that had missing shingles and rotted wood. He saw it and took pictures of it. I also pointed out the moss that had grown in that same section of roof, telling him I expected there could be holes or soft wood up there and that I had grown uncomfortable climbing on that section of the roof to get rid of the moss. I was assured that this would be covered as part of the process of putting on the new roof. Once the roof was torn off, he sends me pictures of exactly those spots and said it was so bad it would cost me an additional $1500...or if we didn't want to spend more cash (we paid $1500 cash to add new gutters...also a crock, by the way) we could just apply the $1500 and skip the gutters. I felt pressured because of impending rain and reluctantly said finish the roof. Had no choice

      We contracted in May 2020 with Allstate Roofing and More to do 4 projects at home and they just finished in May 2021. We had MULTIPLE issues throughout the projects, including damage to every ceiling in our home when they did the roof in stormy rainy weather. We had reached out to them to ask if the final price could be negotiated because of all the issues, and they said they would get back to us. They did not get back to us and then stated we owed them retail price for not paying! Our BIG concern is they were supposed to obtain a permit for the sunroom they installed and now that they are done, we still have not seen a permit! We asked them SEVERAL times about the permit and they are not responding to us. We need to have that permit or we can be fined! They told us they were going to obtain all permits and this was not done! Can you help to see if they have obtained that permit or if we can get a copy? We checked with our town at one point, and there was no permit on file.

      Im sorry Mr ********** felt the need to discuss in this forum however there are few items that are not correct. The rain that caused the interior damage was a surprise storm and we did all we could to protect the home. All the damage that occurred was repaired at our cost and signed of by Mr **********. We went above and beyond on the repairs and even painted areas that were not damaged. The permit in question has been applied for and as soon as we receive it will will send a copy to him. We hope Mr. ********** enjoys his beautiful new sunroom.

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [First of all, the rain was not a surprise. They had called for a stormy day days before.  The reason they had to paint was because the patch they used did not match the ceiling color so there was different colors on our ceiling throughout the house. Just as anyone would expect, you would want your ceilings to look as they did before they were damaged.  I would not close out this complaint until we have the permit. That was supposed to be in hand before the work started. We still have not been contacted and until we see the permit, this complaint is not resolved. We would not recommend this company to anyone.  Regards, ****** **********
