Updates were made to the FourLeaf FCU Web site as it relates to HELOC loans. Historically, FourLeaf offered the functionality to transfer fund to and from your ***** account online, but since the update I cannot find the functionality. I reached out via chat to ask this GENERAL QUESTION about web site functionality, and the agent that was servicing me was quite rude when i couldn't "validate my account" with all of the insane questions they ask. I would have been able to provide the answer if I had a loan statement available, but they removed all of my statements from my online account. So, they're withholding my account information from me, and then not answering my very general question because i can't validate information that I don't have available to me. Infuriating.Business Response

I received a check for my graduation. Thursday July 3rd, 2025 is when I deposited my check into my checking account, where I made sure to sign the check while I was in the bank ATM drive thru. I checked my account the other day and I am in a negative balance because the check was missing a signature, I made sure to sign the check and I cannot ask the person for another check. I asked if they can dispute that amount that I received and they said they were not able to do so.Business Response

This month, I reviewed my credit report and found an account I do not recognize: an auto loan with FOURLEAF FCU, account number ending in ***** opened in August 2021, with a balance of $69,062. I did not apply for or authorize this account. I believe this may be related to identity theft and respectfully request an investigation and removal of this fraudulent entry from my credit report.Business Response

Dear ********* *******,
Your correspondence to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was received by FourLeaf Federal Credit Union (FourLeaf), and we appreciate the opportunity to review and address your concerns.
According to our records, you applied for an auto loan through a dealership on August 5, 2021, which was funded through FourLeaf. As part of that application, you provided supporting documentation, including a copy of your drivers license. Our records further indicate that you have contacted FourLeaf on multiple occasions as the account holder to discuss this auto loan.
Therefore, based on our review of the documentation on file and your multiple communications with FourLeaf as the account holder of this auto loan, we do not believe there is sufficient evidence shown to support a claim of identity theft.
I hope this information helps provide clarity to the situation.
Sincerely,
***** ***

I finance a car through this credit union with gap insurance. I totaled the vehicle and had a $9800 balance that the gap insurance was supposed totake care of back in December 2024. The credit union failed to upload my gap insurance on my file so I had to fight and call to get this taken care of for six months whenever I called the bank, I couldnt find anyone take my call or it would take a week to get to somebody. I didnt continue to make the payments because the amount due that was left was for the gap company to take care of if I kept making payments since December I would have paid off what thegap company was supposed to pay off this was all because the bank failed to upload my gap documents and now they have hit my credit for delinquent payment and I still have a $809 balance that I paid off four weeks ago that they are still reporting to the credit bureau my score gone down 100 points and I still cannot get a hold of anybody at the bank since I made the payment. I am being ignored.Business Response

On May 27th, 2025 I started an application for a HELOC with Four Leaf. I explained on the phone that I was looking for a $70,000 HELOC and that my home was worth $920,000 and an outstanding mortgage of $680,088. The woman stated she would send me and application and get it started. I completed the application with all the info I gave over the phone and immediately began sending over documents. On May 30th I got an email from a ****** ***** stating he was my processor and I was preapproved for $69,000 due to collateral (My home appraisal). I was asked to send over more documents and that an appraiser would come out to my house. I did not hear from him until I sent two emails and an email to his supervisor ****** ****** on June 4th, at which he finally responded that the appraisal came in at $945,000 and he will have to increase the ***** offer. I then received an email on June 9th for someone stepping in for ****** who stated that because my appraisal came in so low, that they could only approve me for $28,000 and my LTV needed to be at 75% but with my appraisal and amount owed I was at 79%. I was very confused so I contacted ****** and asked what the confusion was since I was preapproved when i stated $920,000 and my appraisal came in $25,000 more. ****** wrote back and said ****** was out and that my application stated my home was worth $1,000,000. I immediately sent her a copy of my application which had the original figures on it and she wrote back "that's so strange". She said ****** will be in at 8am on the 10th and she'll speak to him so we can get it settled. She emailed me on the 11th and said they're extremely busy and she hasn't followed up with ****** yet. I then contacted ****** again on the 18th asking why I have yet to hear from them but it is now the 22nd and I still have not heard back from anyone over at *********. Who changed my application and why did they lie to me and never call me back? Unacceptable for a bank.Business Response

Four Leaf is a credit union that took over my car lease from Bethpage credit union in the middle of my 39 month lease. ********* has continuously sent notices saying I owe money. I received a delinquent notice today despite them closing out my account last month. I have attached notices showing $0 balances and showing my account was closed. How can I owe money on an account that's closed? My lease ended in March. I can't have missed a payment in May. They advised me last month and confirmed my account was current and closed. Each department person I speak to transfers me and says it is not their issue. I have gotten nowhere. Now I need to dispute this with credit unions when I did nothing wrong and have never missed ANY payment in my entire life. I'd like them to get rid of my delinquent notice and correct my credit report. If you read ****** reviews of this company, it is borderline criminal what they are doing to customer's ********************** score profiles. They have no good reviews. They are not a professional credit union looking out for the interests of their customer's **********************.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:This should have never happened, and every time I attempted to resolve this issue with customer service, you would transfer me to another department. This continually happened for several months while my credit took a hit because of the companys mistake. This all occurring while attempting to take out a loan to renovate my house which obviously caused me setbacks. Not even an apology from you? I leased a vehicle directly with **************** in September 2021. In October 2021 I was directed by **************** to make my lease payments with Bethpage (Now Fourleaf). I made my lease payments on time through December 2024 and returned the vehicle on November 10, 2024 in prime condition. Between late January and Early February I was made aware that there is a remaining fee I need to pay. After multiple back and forth with Bethpage (Now Fourleaf). I was referred to an agreement that was not explained to me by the salesperson that **** is the administrator and I must pay a fee regardless of the return date or condition. I disputed this with **** in February and filed a complaint with **** in early March. Then to my shock, Bethpage now Fourleaf reported my account to collections in April which is a clear violation of ****. I disputed the matter with CULA as directed by (Bethpage) Fourleaf AND I never opened or signed any agreement accepting (Bethpage) Fourleaf as an account holder/payment administrator. They did not have the legal right to report an "account" to collections affecting my credit score. I paid them in good faith on time as directed by **************** and they unethically messed up my credit score. I filed a complaint with **** because they should be aware of this businesses bad business practices. Id never willingly do business with them after this nightmare.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The derogatory remarks are still present on my credit. However, I have received no updates in regards to an agreed upon amount or waiver for the lease end fee that i was made aware of in late January after turning my vehicle in on the week of November 14. As mentioned my vehicle was turned into **************** one month early.
They failed to inform me of the additional administrators when I initially signed. As you are aware my payments were on time each and every month for the lease term of 39 months. I paid $350 to detail the vehicle before turning it in. Had I known that I would still be charged a lease end fee I never would have spent that money to detail it.

Dear ******* ******,
Your correspondence to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was received by FourLeaf Federal Credit Union (FourLeaf), and we appreciate the opportunity to review and address your concerns.
Our records indicate that you submitted a joint application for a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) on May 15, 2025. FourLeaf, like many other lenders, implements and follows certain lending guidelines for all loan applications to mitigate certain risks and potential financial loss exposure. FourLeaf assessed each borrowers credit profile and decided not to extend credit at that time, as the application fell outside of our approval guidelines. This was listed on the Adverse Action letter sent to the address on file, dated May 15, 2025.
I hope this information helps bring clarity to the situation.
