      Dear ***********************,

Your correspondence to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) dated July 11, 2024, was received by Bethpage Federal Credit Union (Bethpage), and we appreciate the opportunity to review and address your concerns.

In response to your correspondence, Bethpage has reviewed your claim, and our records indicate that your vehicle was scheduled for repossession on January 10, 2024. Partial payments to your vehicle loan were initially accepted in an effort to assist with your past due balance:

On May 15, 2024, a payment arrangement was agreed upon which required a partial payment to your vehicle loan in the amount of $2297.00. Bethpage did not receive your partial payment.

On June 11, 2024, a payment in the amount of $1197.00 was made to your loan. At this time, you were advised an additional payment in the amount of $1671.32 was required. Bethpage did not receive your payment.

We acknowledge that you were given inaccurate information during your conversation with a representative on July 9, 2024, which was then corrected on July 10,2024; however, as of June 24, 2024, due to the delinquency status of the loan,we are unable to accept partial payments. Payments to your loan have not been received per your contractual obligations or any subsequent payment arrangement discussed with you. As of the date of this letter, the past due balance of $8192.93 would need to be satisfied in full to consider your account to be current.

Should you have any additional questions or concerns, you can contact us by calling **************.

I hope this information helps provide clarity to the situation.

      Sincerely,

I am reaching out to complaint you have put my account into collection for $2.61.In the month of March, I had payoff the total amount I owe to this bank($3500) this amount included all the monies that reflected in my account that I owe. A month and a half later, I received a notification stating that I still owe $24.61 to which I was sure I had paid and saw it as a latter send by mistake. However, I went into the Bethpage account to confirm I owe nothing, and the account reflected $0 (zero) balance.A day or two later, I was told by a representative that this interest wont display on the account and that I needed to call them to verify if any monies were owe to Bethpage. With this said, how was I supposed to know I had charges that I owe if no balances reflected on the account? I had paid a $3500 to what I was it was my total. It is unfair and an unfair practice of this company Bethpage, I regret have used you for business and I will not want to do business with Bethpage ever again. My wifes credit score went down 92pts from 850 score. I applied for a home equity line of credit (HELOC) with Bethpage Federal Credit Union and was conditionally approved for $20,000. As a part of the application, I had an appraisal done, opened a Bethpage savings account, had a hard inquiry performed on my credit, and submitted supporting documentation including a ******************* Disposition Judgment (****) (I was divorced last year and was awarded the marital home) and a Certificate of Title evidencing 100% ownership of my home. Everything was progressing well until the lender's "title search" pulled the deed that had my ex-husband's name on it. I explained that that deed was executed during my marriage, but that we had been divorced, and the **** was recorded with the Dakota County Property *************** which issued the Certificate of Title I supplied the lender. When the lender again asked for a deed with only my name on it, I wrote to the Property ************** asking if there was a step I missed when getting the property transferred, and they wrote back confirming that the **** and Certificate of Title are the most recent transfer documents and evidence that I have 100% ownership of the property. In their written response they requested the lender contact them at a number they provided if they needed further confirmation. I forwarded this to the lender who continued insisting on a deed showing I own the property and refused to contact the Property ******************* I again explained that, even though these documents aren't called a deed, they are recorded and are the legal documents establishing current ownership of the property. I said that if they would not contact the Property ****************** that I would contact the BBB for assistance resolving this issue. The next communication I received from the lender was the denial of my application.

In December 2023 my checking account with ********************** was compromised. Someone accessed my account while I was in the hospital and bought things without my knowledge. I informed Bethpage, their fraud team investigated and even though i provided documentation, they closed my account. I did not contest it. I said fine. I also had a joint account with my mom. They allowed me to keep and use. I was sent a wire transfer of $10k to help with mine and my sisters medical bills ( a sister that is now deceased). I transferred funds to cash app to pay the bills and it triggered a fraud alert. That was a month ago. I called and they told me that I had no privileges at the bank. I explained its my joint account and I was never informed that I was not supposed to have access to my joint account. My mom and I went to the branch 2 weeks ago and they verified us. They said that the account was being reviewed by the fraud department and that was it. Asked us questions and said that they would be in touch. We have heard nothing since. I called the bank and the assistant branch manager said that the fraud team will call us. They have not. I called and left several messages for the fraud team to call me and still I have heard nothing. So I need help to know what is going on with mine and my moms account

On 12/5/2022 I purchased a product from Ecom Degree to show me how to sell on amazon, being that I really didt have the time to watch the videos like that I decided that I would sign up for the one on one mentorship which was purchased on 12/4/2022. This would give me access to someone who will be hands on with me and give me the guidance I would need to be successful at starting my business. After the purchased I reached out to *******, that was the guy who was supposed to be giving me the one on one training. He never responded to my text message. I emailed support and never got a responds back from them. I reached out in the group chats they had for all the students and was told to reach out to support but I had already done that. On 1/4/2023 I called my bank (Bethpage)to dispute the two charges, my bank said they would provisionally credit my account the money back while they do an investigation. On 4/3/2023 I received a letter in the mail saying that their investigation was done and that I wasnt getting my money back. Fast forward to 2/18/2024 I decided to login to watch the videos and the access was gone. I reached out to support from the Ecom Degree and this time I actually got a responds, they told me that being that I did a charged back they took away the access. I went back and forth in email about how my bank told me that I wasnt getting my money back so why was my access taken away when I didnt get my money back. So I want to know where did my money go if the bank said it wasnt refunded back and the Ecom Degree is saying it was charged back. I spoke to my bank and they refuse to open back the case to even look to see where did my money go or to help me.

FOR A WHOLE YEAR I HAVE NOT HAD INSURANCE ON MY HOME BECAUSE OF NO FAULT OF MY OWN. Now to have forced placed coverage on my home because someone over there dropped the ball YET AGAIN I am very annoyed, disappointed and moreso disgusted!!! In speaking to ******* she informed me that the reason they KNOW that Lloyds of ****** is my flood insurance carrier but keeps basically harassing us to send them information on who our flood insurance is is because the document thats on file is dark and no one knows where to send the payment to. THEN, she proceeded to tell me my homeowners insurance was sent to the wrong address because they googled where to send the payment INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT THE INVOICE THAT PROVIDED EXACTLY WHERE TO SEND THE PAYMENT. This is absurd and absolute incompetence! How is it that my family is penalized for the laziness and lack of integrity of the staff that are employed at Bethpage and its subsidiaries? Now to have forced placed coverage on my home because someone over there dropped the ball YET AGAIN is ABSOLUTELY insane! We do not have the money to an extra almost $4000 especially when we did absolutely nothing wrong year after year. This has been a horrible experience-the absolute worst actually. Its not only my home owners insurance, it was my taxes and now my flood insurance. This is absolutely bad business practice and egregious behavior from a bank with such stature. This needs to handled and rectified not at the expense of my family. I dont think anyone knows or even cares that, God forbid, something happened to my home that we would have no coverage to protect from us. That means my family would be on the street and lose everything weve worked so hard to obtain all because of the incompetence and laziness of someone who cannot simply PICK UP THE ***** AND CALL A COMPANY TO CONFIRM A ADDRESS TO SEND A PAYMENT INSTEAD OF RANDOMLY GOOGLING THE ADDRESS AND SENDING PAYMENT TO A RANDOM ADDRESS!
