I picked up my new $60000 truck with 11 miles on 1/31/22. By the next day i had discovered that the airbag light was on and the reverse parking assist didn't work. I brought it back 2 day's later and was told the truck needs a new wiring harness. I didn't discuss the parking assist. I called the dealer 2/18/22 and was told the part's not in and they would call when it's in. Also discussed having the parking assist fixed at the same time the airbag light (wiring harness) is taken care of. I contacted Ford directly on 3/03/22 and was told someone would contact me the next day, which no one did. Case number ********************. I don't understand why the truck left the factory with these issues. And i really don't understand how the dealer could sell me a truck without disclosing that there were problems with it. I worked for a dealer so i know what's involved in a pre-delivery inspection. After waiting 45 days i want my truck fixed, and i don't want to hear that the part is on back order.Business response

Robert is upset and we sympathize with him. The problem is with the part he needs for his vehicle. Ford cannot provide their business with the part. It is on back order. Ford determines the level of severity of a repair and what to send to their business. If it is safety issue that takes priority. If there is drivability issue that is next. If it is not a safety or drivability issue and you can still use the car Ford considers it a non essential part. We do want to and will help him but the part is not available.
