I never expected a towing service/storage lot to be a great place. However, this lot is, hands-down, the worst place I have ever experienced. For starters, the individual working at the desk was very unpleasant and not Helpful. In addition to the poor customer service, more damage was done to the car parked on the lot than the accident. The individuals working there were slamming cars around like they had no future purpose, and we're already considered salvage. Insurance companies, beware; you probably have to pay more after a car is parked in this lot. The lack of care of the employees is disturbing. I voiced concern about the treatment of the vehicles to the front desk and was told, "Don't worry, everything's being recorded by cameras." The comment did not make me feel better about the treatment of the visitors to the lot or the cars. I thought that's great you get to watch footage of my car being destroyed further. I would never recommend this lot or experience to my worst enemy. Thanks to the treatment from this lot, it will cost more to repair the car as it has additional damage. I advised the insurance company that further damage was created by the personnel working in this lot. We are all members of this community trying to work together to make Reno a better place. Places like this contribute in a negative fashion, driving up the cost of insurance because of additional damage. Both my daughter and I witnessed the additional damage as we visited the car on Wednesday 3/27/24 and then again Thursday 3/28/24 when we noticed additional damage.Initial Complaint

City auto towing in sparks Nevada was called by my Roadside assistance insurance company and the driver charged me $50 and that was unusual and he gave me a receipt the driver was wearing a probation ankle bracelet and I'm having trouble with City auto and the insurance company I'm getting ready to file a police report for fraud and theftInitial Complaint

I reported my vehicle stolen, and was told that it was in the National Data Base. Received a letter from City Auto Towing, (CPCN **** **** ******** ****., Sparks, Nevada) informing me that the vehicle will be sold on 03/31/2022 if we do no pay $16,195.73. I called and spoke to Sabreena, and let her know we are a victim of a crime and they are in possession of stolen property. She said that the Nevada Highway Patrol made the mistake by not letting us know the car was recovered. She even said that there is nothing to show it was stolen. She then said that they made the "error" of demanding $16,195.73 in 14 days. She then changed the money owed to $6807.00. She said that legally they can charge us for 90 days in the State of Nevada. They have had the car 233 days in the tow yard, and we receive a bill demanding $16,195.73 or they will sell the car on 3/31/2022. We want our car returned, and in California the victim of a crime is exempt from such fees. I'm 84 years old, I want my car back and these people corrected. I can only assume this is the way the run their business-send out outrageous bills, having stolen property for 233 days & give their victims 14 days to pay up or else. Please help me, I can't afford another car, this was my last car and I have a license to drive. With this pandemic, I am a prisoner in my own home, my freedom has been stolen from me. For 233 days I have been unable to go grocery shopping, Senior Center, all the things I need to live a somewhat comfortable life. Please refer to their "Official Lien Notice", I just want to cry. The lady at the desk is very smug and tries to be as difficult as she can be so she can keep your car. I have asked her sevsral times to have her supervisor call me and she keep saying that they are going to say the same things she has said. She will not tell me hiw much it is to get my car or anything. As soon as i gave her my cars vin and proved i was indeed the owner she got really nasty and then put me on hold without telling me she was going to do so. I just want my car. I cant get it with her refusing to do anything but argue. I have provided all the info she asked for and satisfied all the requirements and she still will not tell me how much it is to get it out and when i can come get it.
