I contacted *** brothers sales and leasing regarding a **** ****** Tundra they had advertised for sale via car fax. Vin number 5tbbt4410ys015173.I spoke with salesperson ************************* over the phone and requested additional pictures of the truck, which he did email, to me. I asked him if he could hold the truck, until such time as I could make it up to **** ******.He asked for a deposit of $1,000 with a credit card.I gave him my credit card information , and he emailed me a sales contract identifying the price, and including the $1,000 deposit.That date of money transfers was *** 12,2022, however the date of the contract, is dated *** 1,2022.I did not notice the error in date until the time of this email.On *** 21, 2022, a friend and I,(************************* *************, drove to ****, to check out the vehicle. We were greeted by *************************, who allowed us to check out the vehicle.After looking at the truck and taking it for a test drive, I told ***** that I was interested in buying the truck.We went into the sales office, I explained that it was important to me, that I walk out with a ****** title for this vehicle. Especially if I were going to be paying for the truck in full, on that day.***** told me that ****** is an electronic title state, and it *** *********** to 8 weeks for ****** to send me a title; and thats after I first post fees, and complete the registration process in **********.I told ***** that I didnt feel comfortable buying a vehicle. He said, I understand. My friend ***** then asked him can ***** get his $1,000 deposit back? ***** ************ course. The finance woman will process the refund on tuesday(*** 24,2022). ***** then said, here is my personal cell phone ,number. Which he wrote on a post it note ************.While I did send him a text message, inquiring about refund, I have yet to receive the return of my deposit, nor a response to my text.Please help,Respectfully,*************************Business response

The refund is in process. It takes a few days to process. ***** has called ***** and has not been able to speak w him. Never left a message
The money is swing credited to his card.
I wish he would have just called.
we have been here 74 years and are proud of our store. We would never keep a deposit.
