Thistle DKI has been amazing! I recently had water damage in my house due to a problem with my plumbing. They have done everything from start to finish from the plumbing, to drying out the wet area to the repairs. The communication is great and they make you feel at ease through the whole process. Thistle DKI is a premier construction company in the industry; proven by the excellent performance of 2 back to back damages in our cherished home. This company builds on the corporate credo of WORK ETHICS, HONESTY IN BILLING, and COMPASSION to what their client is going through. But most profoundly is the EXECUTION, MANAGEMENT, and SUPERVISION of carefully chosen on-the-job skilled craftsmen that do the daily job. This PROFOUND CREDIT.. we ADMIRABLY ACCORD TO ROBERT ******.. the Project Manager they assigned to us. Robert was the day to day Manager on the ground who upheld the company’s aim for excellence. He managed every detail like a hawk… not to mention his patience in understanding client’s needs whilst explaining the process. Mr ****** is a huge ASSET to that organization. I will avail myself for direct reference through Thistle DKI. I/we will forever be grateful to Robert and Thistle for OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE in our 2 jobs well done! We had a house fire in 2009. The garage was where the fire was centered. Everyone told us we had to replace the cabinetry because of smoke damage. Because the house, was built in 1987, the cabinetry was almost all solid would except for the shelves and no staples were used in the construction of the cabinetry. Thistle replaced the cabinetry in its entirety with pressboard, mdf and laminate. All joinery is done with staples. I am still living with this nightmare. It is easily broken and almost impossble to repair. Their quote was over $80,000 for the house. Insurance paid. Why???? I should have complained sooner. I didn't know what to do.

Tamara I am sorry that you feel that the cabinets installed were not up to the same quality as your previously installed cabinets. I too wish this was brought up earlier for it has now been over 14 years and we no longer have access to your file. Please know that we always strive to restore cabinets compared to replace. This is always are preferred method. If we recommended that replacement was the only option please know that we exhausted all efforts to repair first. Fire and smoke damage can be devastating and I too empathize with you and the damages it caused to your property. Our process at Thistle DKI is to ensure that all new or replaced products selected (such as cabinets) by our customers are signed off on prior to installation and the product explained. We also always do a final walk at completion and receive a final sign off to ensure that the repairs were completed to your satisfaction.Review from Keith W

DKI is wonderful. It’s very responsible and helpful we had a large leak mold and rebuild which was completed within 2 weeks as promised. 5 months later another problem was determined and fixed completely and very helpfully. After a fire destroyed our family home Thistle DKI was selected by our insurance company to do the rebuild. Robert ****** our Project Manager from day one was very courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy and wonderful to work with. He always kept us in the loop as to what was happening with the construction, answered our phone calls, questions and steered us in the right direction. He truly went above and beyond for our family. We had a great experience with the team at Thistle. Robert our project manager was very helpful and friendly from day one, we couldn't have asked for more!!! Thistle did a great job Joe is awesome and so is Ed and his team!!! House was flooded and they got it done quickly Definitely would use them again
