On 03/21/2023, my son had a dental procedure done by Alexander Dental Group. I have Delta Dental insurance and my wife has insurance through her job. *****, the associate who handles the billing for Alexander Dental stated we needed to pay up front or make a payment plan for the procedure. my insurance covers 80% of the procedure and my wife's insurance covers the rest. there was a charge for anesthesia which they quoted over $600. I called and confirmed with Delta Dental that my insurance covers 80% of the anesthesia and that Alexander dental was responsible to file the claim. Alexander Dental did not state nor disclosed that info. they basically deceived us by stating we need to come out of pocket and be responsible for the anesthesia bill. after showing them my benefits information, they change their story and stated they are not guaranteeing we are getting a refund. I have receipts and statements as evidence for proof of payments. Alexander Dental has given me and my wife the run around and won't answer calls. they charged our credit cards for procedures that haven't been done. On 04/18/2023, my daughter had an appointment with Alexander dental to remove her wisdom teeth. She paid a $100 appointment deposit which is required by Alexander dental. the doctor from Alexander dental stated he was unable to do the procedure due to he health issue. no procedure was done and no reschedule appointment was made. Alexander Dental did not refund her deposit. My wife stated *****, the billing associate stated to her that my insurance hasn't paid for my son's procedure. I called my insurance and they stated Alexander Dental filed a claim and Delta Dental did pay the claim. Again, we were deceived by given the wrong information to get us to pay for additional billing costs. What Alexander Dental appears to be conducting is double dipping. charge the customer, then file a claim through the customer's insurance. Desha, has been unprofessional and rude and will not assist us.
