I made an appointment w/ Bella Patio to come out & give a quote for a new patio cover. The salesman, Pat, showed up on time & told me everything I wanted to hear. I was looking for someone to tear down my existing patio cover ASAP & install a new patio cover a couple of months later, after home repairs & exterior painting had been done by other contractors. I signed a contract w/ Bella Patio on 4/7/22 stating they would demo the old patio cover ASAP & hold materials until I was ready for the new patio cover to be installed. I made a deposit of $1500 by check. I was expecting an appointment to be made in the next couple of days to tear down my existing patio cover but instead I got ghosted by the company & no appointment was ever made. 4/11 Reached out to Pat about an appointment to tear down cover. No response. 4/12 Sent another Text to Pat. He responds with "I will let you know by today when they can demo the old patio cover." I let him know that because of my schedule that I can't do anything in May, so it'll have to be either April or June but preferably April. No response. 4/13 I receive a strange project management email but it has nothing to do w/an appointment. 4/15 I ask Pat if I can cancel my contract & receive a full refund? No response. I send an email to the company about refund. No response. I call the office & the receptionist says the owner will call me back. He doesn't call me back. 4/18 3:47am I receive another strange project overview email sent by Jen but no appointment is made. It says all my projects & tasks are unassigned and the only thing done regarding my project is the cashing of my check. I send an email to Jen about a refund on 4/18. No response. According to the reviews on ***** Bella Patio has a history in the last year of telling customers what they want to hear & then ghosting people & completing the job on their terms & how they see fit. Because of lack of communication & their inability to keep promises I want a full refund.
