      On June 9, 2023 at approx. 1am, I went thru a travel company called skiplagged. That brought me to a list of other 3rd party travel companies. I chose the one with the lowest flight from ************, ******* to ****** Airport ******** which is called FARESFEED. The flight that I chose cost a total of $259.03. At the end of the transaction, I received a message that the purchase was pending and that an associate would be calling me shortly. I didnt receive the call so after approx. 30 minutes, I called them. I was informed that price was no longer available and that is why it went to pending. I asked if seats were still available for that flight. They said yes but not at that price. I asked for the new price. They said $399!!! I said to the lady that at the time I purchased my ticket, that $259 flight was available because it was infact posted on the site that it was available. She said no it wasnt available, that it takes time to remove things from the internet. I said yes...it takes seconds. I also said that its against the law to advertise something for one price then charge a completely different price. She said fine, Im cancelling your flight, then she hung up on me! I called back and got a different lady. She basically said the same thing. I informed her that I would be writing a negative review about them and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. She said, thats okay, you go ahead and do that!Im now concerned because they have all of my credit card information!

But airline prices are very dynamic and are programmed to change purely based on availability and can change within seconds. As requested, we have cancelled your booking, and once a booking is cancelled all the details are deleted from the system, we do not store any card details or passenger details in case the booking is cancelled. so be rest assured your Credit card is safe.

      I searched an online travel agency and found Faresfeed to purchase and airline ticket I agreed to the ticket price of $102. A representative called me back and stated it would be paying $191.. I told her that is not what I agreed to pay and she said she will call me back however, they eventually took $670..36 out of my account under the assume name of Spirit Air...Please be aware these people are a scam they are a fraud and they will take everything out of your bank account

      The customer had booked on our website, but the booking was not confirmed and we never charged any amount from the customer card. We called the customer and explained all these in details. The customer was satisfied from the call and realized that the complaint was registered mistakenly by the customer and he promised to contact ******************** and take back the complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      On April 27, 2023 my Wife and I were both contacted by representative supervisor ***************** extension ****. She stated to both of us 'ALL we needed to do was dispute the charges from our bank to get our money back', however the problem is that ********* was NEVER given authorization to charge my card $670. That amount of funds should not have been taken out of my account. Then to further insult our intelligence they went up under a DBA name to furthermore conceal their fraudulent action. This company Faresfeed.com is a fraud our ******** government needs to be aware of companies that are operating up under these illegal guise. My family and I are at a loss and very inconvenience now our money is gone. We must wait on an investigation to be completed before I receive our money back from Faresfeed fraudulent company. On the day the card was charged our card had not been used within the last month. This company is the only company we given our credit card number to which make the charges even more acceptable to them because before they took the money out of my account a representative called me in attempt to extort more money out of ** then what the ticket price was offered on their website. Once I realize it was a scam I asked the representative not to charge my card she "stated the card had not been charged yet but she cannot cancel the tickets and she would call me back," unfortunately two hours later $670 was illegally taken out of my account from an assumed DBA. Faresfeed has fraudulently and illegally charged my card using some fraudulent tactics. I am appalled that these people are allowed to operate and work under functioning operational company  selling prices then price gouging or straight out stealing hard working ******** citizens money right out of their bank accounts. This company needs to be shut down and these people need to be behind bars no questions about. I asked representative supervisor ************* several times for them to just replace the money back in my account and the representative continue to tell me that I could just dispute the charge. Well that was not the answer I was looking for.  I will not receive my $670 i until my banking institution complete an full investigation which could take 10 to 14 business days. This is very unfortunate for me and I wish that no one else has to go through what my family and I just endured at the hands of these illegal practices please stop these people before they do this to anyone else.

      The charge of USD ****** was not made by **, this charge is directly made on ****** Airlines. The phone number ***********) mentioned beside this charge belongs to ****** Airlines, you can call them directly and they can help you explain why this charge was made.

      Had this charge made at our end, ****** would not have suggested to dispute that charge. We would never advice any customer to raise dispute against our company. We have to pay high penalty if someone raises dispute against **.

      Please believe me the amount was not charged by **. Please call the airlines and they will help you resolve your issue.

      I am rejecting this response because: I NEVER CONTACTED SPIRIT FOR ANYTHING. THE ONLY COMPANY I PLACED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WITH IS TRAVEL AGENCY FARESFEED.COM. THERE NEED TO BE AN INTERNAL INVESTIGATION FOR THIS COMPANY. IF FARESFEED HAD NOT TRIED TO SCAM ME OVER THE ***** THE *** I MADE MY TICKET PURCHASE BY ILLEGALLY PRICE GOUGING TWICE AS MUCH FOR MY PURCHASE ONLY THEN, THIS ACTION I HAVE TAKEN WOULD BE QUESTIONABLE. HOWEVER I NEVER CONTACTED SPIRIT FOR ANY SUCH TICKET. MY WEB SEARCH HISTORY, AND CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS HAS PROVEN THAT  FARESFEED IS AN FRAUDULENT COMPANY. THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON AT FARESFEED WHERE THEY CAN CHARGE YOU THROUGH ANY THIRD PARTY. I WILL NEVER REMOVE MY COMPLAINT THEREFORE THERE'S NO NEED FOR ANY COMMUNICATION BACK AND FORTH. I WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH AN LAWYER IF FARESFEED PERSIST TO CONTACT ME WITH THEIR FRAUDULENT TACTICS TO EVADE THEIR WRONG DOING. UNFORTUNATELY MY COMPLAINT WILL ONLY HELP FARESFEED GET BETTER AT SCAMMING CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES BY NEXT TIME REMOVING ALL TRACES OF WRONGDOING.       On 2/25/23 I purchased airline tickets off the internet by googling cheap tickets. About six sights came up, each giving me the prices for my trip, one being Faresfeed. My flight was a round trip ticket from *********** Pa to *******, **. The dates of travel were 6/13/23 to 6/21/23, over three months away. The price of my ticket was $411. Most other sights were $700. or above. So of course Im thinking what a great deal, I better jump on this. I order the tickets. Get my confirmation number, 357NUB. Then I get an email saying to call ********************************* at ************** at ext ****, my booking was pending. *** ordered many a ticket over the internet but never have I had to call to confirm my ticket. I called, this guy, he talked so fast and tried not to let me talk even when I was yelling at him to shut up, he just kept talking. ** said the fight out of ********** was good, but the flight coming back from ******* was all booked, they would have to change prices but give me free things like an extra bag, no charge. I told him to book me leaving the day before or the day after. He said these were all booked. I said any day the following week would be fine. They were all booked. I had checked the prices for the week, all were the same at $411. So we have flights over three months sways completely booked for the week but he can raise my price and get me on one of them, just not with the deal. I know this is the classic bate and switch. Who knows how many people they do it to everyday? I would love for people to know what this company does and not to use their service. They have a C+ grade with the BBB as I write this. Thank you

      ****** is concerned that our agent couldnt find a ticket at all for the price that was showed to him initially and he believes that the agent was trying to sell him the ticket at a higher price than originally discussed. The fact is, the agent was not able to find a ticket at the price that was originally offered because the consolidator of flight tickets was sold out. And this happens all the time. 

      ****** thinks that this was Bait and Switch and it is definitely not. Albeit the agent needed to probably explain it to him better and handle it better. We take it upon us to train him better for such situations in the future.

        Theres not much I can do now but I will say three things.
          You say this happens all the time.  My flight was still three months away. When were you going to take the my $411 price down you have on the internet sight or do you leave it up thru June which allow you to get all the phone calls and tell the people that deal has run out and they need to add $200 to the price of the ticket. to make it just like the other sights? Is it still up?  Yes.  Why dont you change it? Bait and switch. 
         Second, I looked at the reviews for your site. 9 out of 10 people gave you one star and reading the reviews none were to happy about your sight. I mean they were all outright ******. **** has this happened before? The one guy gave you five stars but he said even tho he had to add $200 to the price of his ticket, the person he dealt with was so nice. How sad is that. You smiled at him while sticking the knife in his back.
          Third, I was just was called about two days ago by one of your friendly agents. She said do you still want to buy your ticket? I see you ordered it then cancelled. I said no I dont want anything that has to do with the company and I had already filed a complaint with the BBB. She started mocking me with what I was saying. Very ignorant. 
           How does this company stay in business? Why is this company allowed to stay in business??

      We had called ****** to provide a resolution to the complaint that was registered with BBB. Sometimes while booking online the tickets are not confirmed and come to us as pending booking,we then call the passengers and try to book the tickets manually with the current price available at the time of booking, airline prices are very dynamic and can change at any point of time.
      We try to provide the best price available to the passengers and most of the time passengers are happy with our services and they give good reviews about us on Trustpilot, but unfortunately some of the passengers do not agree with the change in price and are unhappy with our services which result in some bad reviews, we on our part accept the criticism and try to improve our services.
      We listened to the call recording which ****** mentioned in his complain, the agent was trying to explain the complete process when he thought that the agent was trying to mock him and disconnected the call.
