    On Friday, 5/13 I ordered a built in griddle from this business, specifically stating that I needed it by the following Friday, 5/20, and they assured me that we could do that. Monday I called to check on the status of shipping and they stated that they would contact the shipping company. I called again three hours later and they stated that the person they needed to talk to would not be in for an hour. An hour later at 3:00 PM I am told that the griddle is out of stock and they could sell me a smaller griddle. I specifically told them we were on a time crunch the Friday before and they assured me the griddle was in stock and would be to us in our time frame. I canceled the order with them. I was told that I would receive a cancelation email and I never received that email. Now they are not responding. Now I've lost two days of shipping that I could have ordered from another company and had it on the way. I'll never buy from this establishment. Buyer beware.

    Hi Laura,
    We are very sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant shopping experience. This customer ordered a gas griddle from my company. Prior to the customer placing the order, we spoke to her over the phone and the customer stated that she needed the griddle by the end of the week (May 20). We never promised that it would be delivered by then, but we would try to ship the item as soon as possible as well as expedite the shipping (ETA shown on website was 11-14 days). The customer was initially content and placed the order on Friday afternoon, May 13). Due to the order being placed on a Friday, the griddle would ship Monday. The ETA for the product was May 23. The customer was frustrated and canceled the order. A full refund was issued the very next day. The customer reached out to us before our business hours and we were unable to get back until an hour later. We tried to call the customer multiple times to confirm the refund, however, the customer is avoiding all of our calls.

    The griddle did not ship Monday, however. In fact, after multiple times of asking for confirmation that this particular griddle was in stock and being reassured that it was I was told it was out of stock. The griddle would have never made it in time, because it was not even available.

    We understand the disappointment, but we never guaranteed that the customer will receive their item before May 21. When we called the manufacturer on Friday, May 13, they confirmed that the item was in stock and that it could be shipped on Monday, May 16. When we called again to double-check, they stated they were unable to verify inventory and that the item will be back in stock on May 18.

    They also mentioned an estimated delivery date of May 23 because the shipping procedure will be expedited. Despite the fact that we do not handle orders on weekends, we made every effort to ensure that she received her item sooner, but this was beyond our control. On our website, we also stated that shipping will take two business days. I have attached the proof showing that we tried to contact this customer for an update but no response. She reached us before business hours so we were unable to respond.
