In life you work to enjoy the finer things in life. During the pandemic I rewarded myself and purchased a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas on October 17, of 2021. I purchased the vehicle knowing it was 3 years old and I believed the vehicle to be reliable because I purchased a pre-certified vehicle. Certification to my understanding means everything has been maintained to high standards with a seal of approval. Factory's assemble vehicles Monday through Friday with high work load volumes. I have taken into consideration that I purchased the vehicle built on Friday because it is a "LEMON". At the time of purchase the vehicles mileage read 52,493. Three months after purchase I was driving home from work, car started sputtering and would not accelerate. I immediately existed freeway only for the car to completely shut off at Exit Ramp. I made several attempts and the car would not start. Put Hazzard lights on for vehicles to go around me. Made an appointment and dropped car off at AutoNation Volkswagen Las Vegas. Diagnostic test was performed and I was told nothing was wrong with car. Nine months later driving home from work again and car sputtered and turned off. Because of holiday weekend car was kept for 3 days and once again nothing. Thursday morning at 6AM on July the 16th, my family drove to San Francisco. After driving 8 hours while on the freeway the car sputtered, would not accelerate. We existed immediately to nearest gas station where my family and I were stranded for over an hour in the scorching heat. Two times prior there was No Code, the dashboard now reads EPC. My husband had to disconnect battery to reset the car to make it to the hotel. I thought there was nothing more terrifying than being buried alive until I drove up and down the streets of San Francisco in a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. The fear of not knowing when your car will start sputtering and turn off causing you to plunge to your death is???? Recall All 2018 Vehicles Due To FAULTY ENGINES!!!

Not sure where to begin, my first call was about an Atlas SUV which I was interested in. Anthony is one of the sales associates who informed me that the car is not ready for sale, even though they had it for sale online on their website. I told Anthony, no problem and that I will wait for it until it is ready. I literally called every other day and followed up with the sales associate, Anthony, who he asked me to reserve it and run my credit, which I did. After they ran my credit, I found out that it was sold to someone else. I spoke to two different managers, Louise E**** the GM, who were not helpful at all. Louise promised to get another car for me that I would like that was similar, and gave me the run around for two more weeks, and then that car was sold too. Really?? You work as a manager for a dealership but you don't know where your car is? Which one is available which one is not? Ask me to run my credit first? Seriously? I am just really confused how these people work at the AutoNation yet are so unprofessional and unorganized. Neither the managers nor the employees know what is going on. How can you run a dealership with no knowledge of doing sales!? I recommend taking your business elsewhere if you do not want to have an enormous headache from dealing with such a bunch of unknowledgeable people.
