I contracted this company to repaint cool decking and repair back patio. Job completed on 10/1/2020. Everything looked good. On May 4th, we actually had first get together and used the deck. The next day we hosed deck off to clean. Surface had several spots that wouldn't come clean. I called company they sent two men to look at deck. (May 12th) He looked at deck wasn't sure why looked so bad. He said they would take care of, clean it and see if needed to be repainted again. Scheduled for 6/18/2021. I called to reschedule, they said after July 4th they would call. On July 7 or 8th, Johnathan showed up unannounced, I said we weren't expecting him he said didn't office call. I said no. He looked at deck, said would reschedule. Didn't hear from them. Called 7/18. Got email telling me how to clean deck, and because light color won't come clean. Also suggested sealant and want to charge $1000. I was told it had a sealant originally. I'm not paying for more work.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/05) */ We have sent estimator out to your and an installers and also asked for pictures. The only thing wrong with the decking its that it is dirty . That is why we have been communicating with customer and sent her instructions on how to care for coating. Her warranty doesnt cover if it is just dirty Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/08/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have had cool decking on patio for 25 years. It has been repainted previously. I have never had this problem until painted by this company. Deck would clean up by hosing down for years. This deck was repainted and after 7 months is looks like it hasn't been done in years. I don't know if paint was not applied correctly, or cheap paint was used. Deck not coming clean. i had my pool rocks refinished and repair done on a crack on the deck. IN THE CONTRACT IT WAS SPECIFIED THAT THEY WILL CUT A GENTLE CURVE LINE ALONG THE ORIGINAL CRACK. AS SUCH THE FENCE WAS NOT TO BE REMOVED.. HOWEVER THEIR SUBCONTRACTOR CUT THE CONCRETE UNDER THE FENCE LINE IN A STRAIGHT LINE AND REMOVED THE FENCE. THE COMPANY REFUSED TO REINSTALL THE FENCE. ADDITIONALLY THE SKIMMER WAS WAS REMOVED AND REINSTALLED. THE NEW CONCRETE DID NOT GO AROUND THE ENTIRE SKIMMER. THERE IS A GAP WHERE WATER CAN GET IN THE SKIMMER AND THE POOL FROM THE DECK. THEY WILL NOT FIX THE DEFECT AND SUGGESTED THAT I CAN CAULK THE CONCRETE MYSELF.Business response
