On 12/21/2023, I took my 2006 Acura RSX Type S to Nevada Auto Center because my car wouldnt start. They diagnosed "crank no start" and recommended a head valve job, cylinder head gasket set, exhaust ****** gasket, knock sensor, and chain tensioner, charging $1,187.27 with a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.After picking up the car on 1/19/2024, I noticed an oil leak, check engine light, and poor idling, none of which I had prior. I returned the car on 1/24/2024, and they said the oil leak was residual and the check engine light would reset after driving.On 3/8/2024, I returned again due to ongoing leaks. They diagnosed a power steering leak and charged me $100 for labor to replace the pump (I provided the part) and $300 for labor on the motor mounts. Despite this, the car continued leaking oil, and I had to top it off frequently.On 9/9/2024, I returned again after months of back-and-forth without resolution. They again claimed the power steering pump was leaking and quoted $350 for labor, despite charging only $100 for the same job earlier. They refused to perform a ** dye test on the engine under warranty until I replaced the power steering pump again. I had the ** test done elsewhere, only in the engine which, confirmed the engine was leaking oil as the uv dye was prominent.I am seeking the following resolution: Repair Under Warranty: I request that Nevada Auto Center fix the ongoing engine oil leak and any related issues at no additional cost to me, as the original repairs are covered under the 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. Alternative Repair Option: If Nevada Auto Center is unable or unwilling to complete the repairs, I request that they cover the cost of the necessary repairs at a different shop or dealership of my choosing.Initial Complaint

This company over charged me by $244.50 for parts and then lied to me multiple times about the charges and 2 separate managers told me they would be issuing refunds then never returned my calls. I have sent several emails to the email they provide to contact corporate with no response. I can provide the email as well for proof. The business is predatory and the ** became abusive when I made contact after hearing no response for a week and a half when I was told he would call be by end of business day with the refund details. I would like the over charged amount to be removed from the financing that is owed.Customer Answer

07/19/2024 Auto shop quoted a price of $1800 to replace a motor that was under warranty that another shop had done in the past. When the car was finished we found a broken transmission mount, the car keeps over heating, a alternator bolt that is not the one that belongs on the car and a ground for the car that is not properly connected, the car also keeps over heating. When the shop is contacted they refuse to fix the car also and will not make it right when there was nothing wrong with these parts of the car prior to the engine being changed. They are very rude. The car is not back together how it is supposed to be and otherwise useless in its condition.Initial Complaint

Today, 06.19.2024, I came to the same auto shop ( I was given one year warranty or ******************************************************** March 2024 ( 4 months ago).The new lady at the front, *******, was rude, yelled at me infront of the room, full of people, refused me my WARRANTY ( provided in writing by previous manager-****** and ********).The new manager wanted another $2500 for more repairs, not answering, why my coolant still needed to be fixed and needed cooling fluid( I overpaid for its replacement only 4 months ago, yet, the job was not done the way, it should have been done, after the shop collected $2000 in repairs, for the car, that costed me $3500 ( low mileage 2007 PT Cruiser, was 75 000 miles at the time of payment).Today, I was degraded publicly, yelled at, told to NEVER come back, was taken the warranty back by *******, along with a new manager ( no one from my previous visits were there any longer).I was polite, kind ( I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, am now on permanent disability, due to heart tumor removal, only 2 years ago).I asked ******* to stop with discriminatory yelling, yet, she went on and on.I asked Adrican American female customer to stop yelling at me ( discriminating, in support of managers), yet ******* threatened Police, started dialing her phone in order to get me " arrested".I took my phone and videotaped their cruel discrimination, public, degrading, while asking for $2500 more, canceling my warranty, telling me to never come near this shop ( I found them on Groupon for oil change and paid them over $2000 in repairs, that were NOT done, the way they should of been done.I have a recording with her , degrading me, threatening PD and will be filing with NV court .This email is for the owner of the company, who should provide us with services, not charge thousands and have his staff yell and degrade women on disability. I went to ******** location today to see the same stuff ( manager-******, who quoted and charged me at ******* location) is now working at the same business, under the same owner ( they have 3 locations, all advirtized on Groupon fir oil change. This is how I found them.
I arrived, after being yelled at and threatened PD at ******* location on Friday.
****** saw me and immediately slammed the door, never said Hello.
Receptionist, ******** , who was also working at Sunrise and got all payments calculated and printed was there as well ( as it's the sane ownership and they lied to BBB, that they are not the sane business- Nevada Auto Care.
I asked her to not degrade or threaten PD, like the other location, as I am on legal disability, have Congestive heart failure, after tumor was removed from my heart , 2+ years ago.
I showed her proof of disability.
****** never came to talk to me, when I asked, why all motor mounts , that were paid for and changed by ****** only 4 months ago are now leaking? She said, it could be defective parts. All of them. She had no proof of any parts orders or receipts ( I kindly asked, as I believe, they were never purchased, yet, hundreds were charged for parts alone. All are leaking, creating a lot of problems in a car, after ****** charged me over $3000 dollars ( not $2000). It was over $3000. Anti Freeze was fixed, changed and is now completely empty ( only 4 months later), keys ( both), made by ******'s personal friend are both defective, not working electronically. What I got is another threat of Police and was threatened, so I left.
This is a company, that scams and steals. Under warranty- they threaten PD, yell, degrade. I recorded the yelling at ******* location. After over $3000 stolen from me, the car is " dangerous " to drive, overhears, shakes, all new motor mounts are leaking ( most likely- never changed), etc . PD threats are ongoing. O saw a guy there, on ********, who looked like the owner ( on BBB photo). He might of ordered another PD threats, not to pay for new , leaking motor mounts, under warranty. It's cruel and criminal, what they do to us,( I am on disability), yet, left , after ******** threatened cops, like the other office. They gladly kept over $3000, yet, my car has no freezer, leaky mounts , is dangerous to drive.

I wrote a review on ****** Maps as the business continues to use SCARE Tactics, threaten, abuse, hang up, deny warranty repairs, deny all reciepts for parts, asked to be provided, as 5 motor mounts are weak, Bad, due to Lusis written statement on 07 *******, yet, they never replaced them, as promised, lots of new leaks, I was 86d today, per call from General manager, ***** ( never met him). He stated, that I am not allowed to come near any of their businesses. $3300 stolen. Warranty is hood for another 8 months, as they continue to harass, threaten, degrade, hang up, use SCARE tactics. Pls, read today's review. I am also on permanent disability due to Congestive heart failure and $3300 is a lot for me. I drive a car, more broken, than b4. They are not providing any manufacturer reciepts as they most likely just stole the money, never fixed the car. NV Partners agent (.***************************), who works for ************ called on my behalf , spoke to manager ***** , was told, that I could bring the car back, for new motor mounts, all repairs, under warranty, yet, I am " to stay outside" per *******, who yelled and threatened PD , canceling my warranty.
I called Sunrise location,, stated, that I am on disability ( yet again), live with heart failure, post tumor was removed from my heart 2 years ago and can not be outside,, in Desert heat,, over 100F. I also told manager'-*****, that my warranty is good for another 8 months and I need to be able to bring the car back when needed,, under warranty (.They charged over $3000 in repairs). ***** said, that it was fine, I am allowed to come in on Friday, July 26th, at 8 AM.
I did. ***** was there, saw all the paperwork, shoeing worn motor mounts, was asked to, please, keep the parts, after replacement and provide me with a recuept of order/new parts from manufacturer, as , I believe, the shop charged me $728 for 5 motor mounts,, yet,, left the faulty ones in the car as they never provided me with any reciept or old parts, when asked. He stated,, that he will keep the parts for me , yet,, the owner of the shop is not going to **** me and so on.. it is all coming from the owner.. I went home and he never called ( The car was supposed to be done by closure- 5 PM as I dropped it off at 8 AM, b4 the Weekend, when they are closed. He lied to my agent, ***************************, that he has all the parts ( motor mounts ready and waiting for me to be installed).
later in the day, after 3 PM, ***** and ******* started hanging up the phone,, when I called the shop.. Someone with the name " *****" , whom I never met and who called himself a General manager hanged up about 4 times, told me that Motor mounts were installed , but I am 86d from all their properties, not to come near ( warranty or not).
I am not to come near even with ****** my car is in their shop, they are closing in 40 minutes for the weekend).
I called NVPD , was instructed to go there and puck up the vehicle,, call 911, if they continue with " SCARE tactics", come and report them after puck up. I called and told *****, that I called PD and they will be coming on Monday and now I will **** to the shop, requested to put old motor mounts on the back of my car, as requested at 8 AM with ***** ( manager). ***** said, that their metal guy might if picked up the parts. I drove in stress, ad I suffer from heart failure and am being 86d now, on top of PD threats by the shop, all ok'd by the owner, *****************. On arrival, I am told that motor mounts were not changed ( see attached, from July 19th, stating- all motor mounts are weak, etc. I paid them $728 for new mounts, only 4 months prior. I have received more threats from the business, after they stole $3300 ( with tax), 4 months ago and cancelled my warranty by yelling that I am now 86d, not to come near their businesses.
I found the owner *************************** on FB and messaged him my complaint with you.
He immediately blocked me, as he gives orders to treat me with threats/abuse.
The car died on me and now needs towing, as their manager, instead of doing proper coolant flush - topped it off with some bad, wrong stuff ( Per Auto Zone) , lied, that it's due to a leak. There is no leak, just wrong fluid and wrong labor ( charged me hundreds for a flush *****. Never done. Now- pubishing, as I complained to you, recorded abuse on my phone, sent them a private ******* link, as it is not public now, in hopes of resolution, asked for repairs per warranty, etc)
I have no car , am on legal disability, after rare tumor was removed from my heart 2 years ago, needing a car to take me to weekly treatments/life saving infusions.
They are ignoring and threatening, per owner, who blocked me, after stealing over $3000, not even purchasing the parts ( 5 new motor mounts, written as changed for $728- are now written as all worn. They denied reciers, parts to show, threatened more.
I have no words for the magnitude of their scam.
I hope, you will help to reach out to press, as I have no car.
It's dead. PD officer , officer *******, was kind enough to open the hood , inspect it and help me get it to autozone, that confirmed that ***** ( manager) topped it off with dirty, wrong stuff, instead of performing what he was paid for. A proper flush with proper coolant for my car, so the engine won't die.
They punish me for reviews and this report.
Their threats are cruel and inhumane.
*************************** is aware. He is behind it all, as he blocked me and continue to deny warranty, all services.

I went to *********** LARGE corporation) and had my car checked on August 18th, 2024.
The mechanic confirmed in writing that Nevada Auto Center did not purchase or replaced all motor mounts( installed 2 out of four), as I paid for all mounts( each- paid for separately in their own reciept( $728 out of $3300 - for motor mounts).
The oil Leaks are very bad, as they have not fixed the problems, yet. Made it worse.
I reached out to the owner, *************************** via FB, he is aware, yet, continues to ignore , after intentional defrauding for over $3000.
The car is dead for over a week.
Firestone provided written report, stating that they have not done the work, and have NOT even purchased all parts.

I will be talking to DMV , per your agent writing, as I believe, this needs to be investigated and, possibly closed, fir scamming clients and using agressive " SCARE tactics", insults, harassment, by staff.

Upon car inspection at *********, it has been confirmed, that intentional criminal fraud by NV auto center took place, as the business never ordered or installed motor mounts ( Charged me for four and only installed two).
Worn motor mounts created more damage to my car ( Axle leak, etc).
When the car was brought back, only two days later- business continued to lie that all mounts are brand new ( charged '$728 out of $3300, paid) only for new mounts.
They only replaced two mounts ( the easy ones), denied me all reciepts or parts, per multiple written requests ( to me and others, asking shop on my behalf).
Each motor mount was charged separately (per NV Auto center reciept).
***** uses agressive scare tactics, threatens, refuses active Warranty.
***** threatened to "86 me, contunues to threaten trespassing), not honoring warranty, despite the business, never buying orinstalling new parts, that were charged for.
The car died in the middle of the road about 3 weeks ago, shortly after $3300 was paid in all repairs (scam),.as they never fixed whats on their estimate abd broke the car further, putting me in danger on the road, refusing to buy new parts, while lying that all mounts are brand new.
They also refused to pay back, in order to fix the car at **********

No more communication with the shop will be attempted, due to criminal defrauding, threats and intentional scam.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and request a refund for the services performed on my vehicle at Nevada Auto Center between March 10 and March 14, 2024. Enclosed with this communication is a copy of the receipt detailing the work purportedly carried out during that period.Despite the receipt indicating that all necessary services were completed, I discovered less than three months later that the essential repairs were not performed. Consequently, I had to take my vehicle to a different repair shop, where it was confirmed that the parts listed as replaced by Nevada Auto Center were, in fact, the original components, which were over ten years old.Upon discovering this, I contacted Nevada Auto Center and spoke with Manager *************************. I provided photographic evidence showing the unchanged parts. However, due to the vehicle's unsafe condition, I was unable to return it to your shop, as it was not in a drivable state to make the 4.5-hour journey from **********, where I currently reside.Given these circumstances, I request a full refund for the work that was not completed as charged. After going into Nevada auto Center 2 To get my starter replaced and a transmission flush I started having a new issue with my transmission overheating. I took it back in and they said things were wrong, but they didnt see any issues regarding that. So I went with the recommendation of getting the *** Part and air hose changed. They also offered to fix my TMS sensor faulty code that came on after I was done with the first part of the repair. They also did flashes on a couple other fluids. They did change the transmission fluid and filter the second time. I did have to pay for the filter. Once everything was completed at TMS sensor still does not work. He said that he was using OEM. ************ repair verified it was not and thats why it wouldnt work. My car is now poorly shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. There is a big jerk every time it does. Both going up from 2nd to 3rd and down from 3rd to 2nd. They are now refusing being allowed to come into their shop. I am not allowed to come back because I was upset when I called to let them know that it was not working again. The manager wouldnt come out of his meeting in the afternoon to talk to me. I had to drive 15 miles down to **** twice he told that both sensors were wrong. As far as the transmission goes, there was nothing wrong with it when I went in. It was just due for service. Now it shifts horribly and jerks the car every time it shifts.Initial Complaint

I have been without my vehicle for about six months. They first told me that the bottom half of my engine needed to be replaced so I approved the work for $3500 and told it would take about a few weeks to repair. After the repair was completed, I received my vehicle in the exact same state with the same OBD codes. I ended up taking The vehicle back less than two or three hours and gave the owner a phone call, letting him know about the exact same issue still reoccurring. After another diagnostics, I was told that the power control module would be changed and swap because that was the reason why the vehicle was giving out those codes. I approved the work for about $2000 back in February 2024 and until this day I have not received my vehicle back. Every time I call, they give me the runaround telling me that the part that they installed was the wrong one and they are waiting for a warranty. they explicitly told me that the part they were going to order was a brand new one. I had my car towed to the shop to get an estimate on repairs due to having power steering issues, leaks and smoke. *** called me and gave an estimate of $1600 for the repairs and I approved the work. ****** then called days later and said I needed an alternator and a battery. I advised my car did not need a battery prior to bringing it in nor did it need an alternator. Then they said it needed a throttle body and the price went from $1600 to $3300 to $2200 and I advised to just do the throttle boldly and I will take care of the alternaor and battery later and they said the cost would be $1900. It took another month for me to get my car and was told different things each time I called. I was told the car was ready Sat and they picked me up to get the car and it would not start. They called someone to come in and look at it and they got it started and said the alternator just needed a charge and they replaced the battery free of charge. I drove it and it kept stopping so I called them and they said to bring it back Monday however the car stopped and will now not stay started and I am unable to drive it. I ***************** had my car toll to the Nevada auto center no2 for repairs they call me and told me that they needed **** dollars to repair my car a Chrysler 300 on the 1st of September I took them **************************************************************************************************************** back when they called i was told that they needed ***** dollars in order to put the engine light out a new computer and hardnesses I told them I couldn't pay that amount so he suggested one of there finance companies so i did and was declined when i told them i was on a fixed income they told me that since I was going to get it fixed that I would have to pay for storage when i asked how much was the cost for the and she said it was 39 dollars a day **** needed 117 dollars the very next day i call them and told them I was coming get my car she said they added 5more days and the price was now 337 dollars I asked her why and she stated that she was a new employee and another person got on the phone with an attitude and said she never told me 117 dollars but ***** dollars but it I pay half of the **** she wouldn't charge me storage fees i asked what was half she said 900 the price was now **** instead of the original price of **** I said that I'll see knowing that I couldn't come up with that kind of money and they never called me once let me know when the repairs for my car was done and on the receipt it states that it will be 39 dollars a day after we notify you that your car is ready I did not authorized any work done to my car except for the original repairs that I had already paid them forBusiness Response

The vehicle was towed in and did not start as described on the signed repair order. After the initial diagnostic and recommendation from the technician and just to get the car to start for further testing *********** agreed to the repairs. We have not heard back from him since the last call when the initial repair and diagnostic were completed and further repairs were needed. We have continued to call with but the phone he provided is disconnected and the second is a text app.
Storing customer vehicles is very difficult and takes away from the potential to take on more work. It is also a liability.

I originally took my car in on 11/2/23 for a smog check. Upon inspection of my car, the mechanic told us that the car was a hazard that it could blow up and that it needed work immediately. I informed the mechanic that the damage was caused by me rolling over a tire on the highway around a week prior to bringing car in for smog check.The mechanic quoted my son a price of approximately $12,000 but then being very generous they reduced it to approximately $5900, which sounded reasonable. However I did inform them that I would be filing a claim with my insurance and that there was some concern that the vehicle might be totaled. The mechanic ******* in an attempt to ease my worries assured me that the car is not totaled and that there is no way the insurance is going to total the vehicle and that we should hurry to fix repairs. He also indicated that he would be willing to lie to the insurance company in an attempt to help us out. With his aggressive tactics, my son and my mother agreed to take out loans to finance the car repairs that werent scheduled to begin until 11/3/2023. On the morning of 11/3/23 at 8:15 am I made one of several calls to the repair shop to stop the work of the car. They told me things like they ordered parts and cant return them, they told me they took apart my car when they didnt all in an effort to bully us into the loans that we asked to cancel because of the potential of the car being totaled. On 11/6/23, I received information from my insurance that they are leaning more towards totaling the car. I once again called and informed the repair shop of whats going on and asking them to cancel the loans and they refused. When I asked for management, they refused. I emailed them and no one called or emailed back. Their employee offered and was willing to commit insurance fraud by lying. In addition they are attempting to force us into a contract that can be canceled but they refuse to agree to cancel.Business Response
