    Where do I begin?!
In August 2022, our company van was in an accident and we had it towed to the Wreck Center (aka Urban Motors) for a quote on the repairs. At that time we met with and dealt with Hector Absi who was the owner and he took in our vehicle. Later we were told that Hector had to leave the country for an emergency so we were passed to someone else. Insurance paid them directly to get the work started but they were unable to locate parts and said they were backordered. After a couple of months, our van was still not repaired so we asked for a refund on work they were paid for but did not complete. They refused stating that they did the “tear down”. So I asked them to deduct that labor cost and reimburse the remainder and they still refuse.
It has been 6 months of fighting with them and our damaged van is on the street in front of our customers daily and it’s embarrassing. We just wanted them to refund us for work not performed so we can take it somewhere else.
Today I called them to once again inquire and was told they had been advised by their lawyer not to speak to us about it. I was livid and confused as to why they would hire a lawyer when they are clearly wrong?
Later, a neighbor on NextDoor then informs me that the owner of Wreck Center (Hector Absi who disappeared out of the country) had actually been indicted recently in California on federal charges for fraud and is now serving time in federal prison. He also owes restitution. So I’ve been dealing with his wife Becka on the mater and some really rude guy from Wreck Center.
THEN I find out today that they filed bankruptcy in September- right after they were paid by our insurance….which is obviously why they are not paying (don’t have it).
Last- the part we've been waiting on for 6 months is located in Los Angeles and they have 5 original OEM parts in stock - go figure!
