Paid the contractor in full for a new roof in December 2021 via check. Work was started on May 4, 2022 and "finished" on May 5, 2022. However, on May 6, 2022 i noticed i had a voice mail form the contractor, in which he had notified me that they needed to come back to put the vent back on for the water heater. They came out late in the afternoon same day and put the pipe in place minus the rain guard cover and Marcos said he would come back on Monday, May 9, 2022 to close the gaps. After nothing had been done, on Friday May, 13 i went down to the business and showed them the photos of the gaps from the pipework that I took the previous evening before it got dark and showed her the gaps and pointed out how you can clearly see the sky and that the gaps had not covered up. Michelle who was at the front desk said she would reach out to them and have them come out to fix it. Sometime during the day they did come out as I was not home during the day as i was running errands since I work Monday-Thursday 7am-530pm and most businesses are closed when i get off so i have to run all my errands on Fridays. However, they only fixed the gap over the furnace and NOT the water heater, and the rain guard cover WAS STILL NOT IN PLACE. On Tuesday May 17, 2022 I then called the business at 630am just before i left for work and left a voice message stating that someone had come out but only fixed the gap over the furnace and NOT the water heater. I never heard back. Given the fact that i have spent more than $11,000 for this roof which is PAID IN FULL, i would also like to get some sort of a refund in the amount of $500 for the inconvenience that i have been caused.Business response

Magic Roofing has refunded customer $500.00 which he picked up from Magic Roofing office. All drywall issues and roof issues have been completed by Magic Roofing. Magic Roofing has advised customer his roof has a 5 year warranty total system leak tight warranty.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.just a note that the drywall person when he was spray painting the drywall he did NOT cover anything nor closed the air vent that is in there and the paint went everywhere , all over the blinds the bed frame, the closet doors (which thankfully were closed otherwise tithe paint would have been on my clothes and ruined them), the window. Attachments have been included also one of the roofers left numerous cigarette butts all over my front yard and didn’t bother to pick them up I counted over a half dozen of them
