**************** of Los Arborles Tree and Landscape claims to have a 5 Star / A+ Rating with the BBB, however, the BBB says this business is not accredited. In any case, I requested for the newer vertical growth on our side-yard apple trees to be pruned down. I even took **************** up on our side deck, to show him the bushy vertical growth that had gotten out of hand. **************** insisted he was a horticulturalist three times, that he knew how to trim trees, and apparently didn't listen to me. My folks had used spreaders for years on the trees to get nice, wide lateral branches, that led to prolific applales that we could actually reach. ********, the *******, (according to ****************) chain sawed off the very large lateral branches, leaving the newer growth verticals. I asked him to stop, as he was trimming, but he didn't seem to understand me. Two of the trees had all the laterals cut off and ended up being < 1/2 their original width. None of the vertical growth was trimmed, which led to tall, much thinner trees with extremely dense centers. No light could reach the center of the trees. When I complained, ****************, said now the trees would grow the way they're supposed to, while moving his hands straight up and down. The consequence of this butcher job was, of course, the apples formed only on the tallest vertical branches that were getting sunlight, but the fruit was well out of reach. As the apples matured, the thin vertical branches tore off the trees. The third tree had multiple trunks, of which 3 were removed, again leaving thin vertical growth trunks, of which two broke from the weight of the applies. I was forced to hire a Certified Arborist to try to correct the damage. I'd like a refund from Los Arboles for the damage and misinformation. The trimming and pruning was improperly done for any fruit tree. This was a bad experience with an aggressive pushy man who doesn't know much about fruit trees.

Just flat out awful! As stated below - very pushy. Started the job and cut the bushes as they were told to make sure and not cut! When I called to go over that, I was yelled at and told they do not need my business and will just return and pick up their equipment in the AM. I had them come pick it up that evening and now I must explain to my wife why our front landscape looks like a kindergartner cut it. I would never recommend someone like this!
