The subject business was hired to perform a pre-sale property inspection of a home being offered for sale. The resulting inspection report was used in closing negotiations for price consideration to address the identified defects in the home. Post sale defect repairs have resulted in several contractors identifying defects that were not identified in the inspection report. This resulted in an undervalued adjustment in the sale price as I was not able to claim the value of the unidentified defects during home negotiations. I am due consideration from the inspection company due to their failure to identify defects in the home prior to the sale as they were compensated to perform. I spoke with the business owner of the inspection company and we agreed to setup an on-site inspection to review the inspection report findings and the missed defects. I have repeatedly called the company and the owner, and have posted a message on the companies web site to schedule the post-sale inspection visit hower there has been no response. It appears that the company and owner have identified by phone number and will not answer when I place a call.Business response

The customer contacted our office and mentioned a concern with a tile in his shower.
I called him back to schedule a time for us to look at his concerns. He needed to coordinate with his wife and would call me back.
After 3 days he did not call back so I called and left a voicemail.
4 more days and I called, he answered and again said he needed to coordinate a time with his wife.
3 more days and I called and left a voicemail.
At this point he had not responded back to me. I assumed it wasn’t a big deal as they weren’t able to make time for me to visit the site or for him to call me back.
After several weeks he filed a complaint with BBB
I sent 3 emails to him and his wife over the following 10 days without a single reply to any of them.
I have made many phone calls and sent many emails to this client attempting to schedule a time to look at their concerns. I have not heard back from them.
I still would like to go to the house and look at the concerns, but I cannot if they don’t communicate with me.
