Sandia Home Buyers, LLC owns the home we currently rent. It is owned by *************** who also owns *************** LLC, the property management company that rented the house to us.The house was promoted and advertised as being "fully remodeled." The remodel was more of an overcoat to an uninhabitable home. The pictures and surface upgrades looked beautiful. However, once we moved in we had plumbing, roofing, ceiling, sewage, window, door, lock and key, electrical, HVAC, and utility problems...and by problems we mean catastrophic failures in each of the areas listed above.We began submitting "Maintenance Requests" to *************** and Sandia Home Buyers on day one of our lease agreement. Over the next four months we lived through the nightmare of having leased a home that was considered "uninhabitable." We lost nearly $10,000 worth of personal property due to electric surges and sewage flooding throughout the house. Our under-house storage flooded with f**** due to a 4' broken sewage pipe that somehow evaded 2 rounds of inspection by their plumber. This sewage leak turned into a "BLACK MOLD" infestation, destroying more of our personal property that was stored in the space below the home.The first two months, they attempted to fix the homes problems as we reported them using unlicensed employees to do work without permits. In the third month of ongoing repairs, we were abandoned to our own devices, leaving one bathroom filled with flooded f**** Instead of fixing the problems they attempted to illegally evict us.Finally, the ******************* **************** inspected the home and found it uninhabitable and have cited Sandia Home Buyers for 6 major code violations. We have lost tens of thousands of dollars due to their negligence and instead of accepting ANY responsible for our pain and suffering, they have chosen to bully us and have forced us into a position of potential homelessness.Do not trust this company, they lack integrity and don't deserve your business.
