I had a colonoscopy procedure scheduled for December 28, 2022. Because of the preparation cancellations had to be made 72 hours before the procedure or you will be charged $100. I called the office the week prior to the procedure to verify the phone number since my 72 hour fell on Christmas Day. I was told to call their phone number and an answering service would take my call. I did get sick on December 24, 2022 and called to cancel my procedure, which was more than the 72 hour limit. But when I called on January 3 2023 to reschedule my procedure I was told by billing that I owed $100 for not canceling by December 23, 2022 on a business day. My instructions states hours not business days. But the person in billing said I cannot reschedule until I pay the $100 and insists that it had to b canceled on a business day I feel that they are wrong and I have their instructions that shows hours not business daysCustomer response

Verbal Update: Business has stated I do not owe, it was a misunderstanding.
