I went in for a teeth cleaning November 23rd, 2020. They had asked if I would like to make an appointment to come back and I had let them know that I would not be making a follow up appointment that day because I needed to pick a day that aligned with my work schedule. The woman at the front desk gave me a card and said to call when I chose a day that worked for me. I never did call back to set up a follow up appointment with GS Dental. I received a bill on July 1st, 2021, in the amount of $50.00 for “Miscellaneous Adjustment : Broken Appointment”. I emailed GS Dental letting them know this charge was a mistake because I never called to set up a follow up appointment and GS Dental is refusing to remove the charge.Business response

This person is complaining about a charge for a missed appointment. This is not the first time she has failed an appointment with us, and the last time she did, we wrote it off as a one time courtesy. It is clearly stated on all of our documentation and correspondence that a fee will be charged if the appointment is not cancelled with a 24 hour notice. This patient was certainly aware of this policy, as she had failed an appointment with us previously, and we were kind enough to write it off. She is complaining to the BBB because she is angry about a charge that she incurred.
