      Worst contractor experience (except installers ***************** Understand need to accommodate contractors schedule & did so several times. Anxious to fix shower leaking into adjoining closet in a **** home fixed. A CUSTOM JOB meant to take 3 days *** took over a month (2/16/22 - 3/29/22)! Delay wasn't due to the home. 11/13/21, sales **** ** took measurements, said a plate could be placed over a bath spout, subsequent day inspector K came to inspect job. She didnt review Bs ************** wasnt correct! 2/16 ******* says cant place plate over the bath spout. 2/17, ******* says the shower door wrong size! 2/18, spoke with D (receptionist), K told her their doors are 46" - 60", mine was 52", B didn't know about the doors being 46" - 60"! Inspector wouldve known if paperwork was reviewed. Have shower without a door. ** HESITANTLY had someone put up a rod/shower curtain. Curtain/rod installed 2/18, quick! 3/15 D sends email to confirm 10am door installation Tues, 3/22/22 . I sent Daniela ****** La Ventana is installing door? Expected installers who started job to finish the job, please call. 3/16, no call, I emailed her: ..have a look at email I sent you Tues, 3/15, & get back to me please, before next Tues, 3/22. Asked for email ***** was supposed to send to me (as of February) & never happened to this date. 3/16, D replied/apologizedYes, La Ventana installing door. Regarding Ks ****** shes out of town, returns Monday. 3/21, D assures me GLASS IS BETTER THAN WHAT I ORDERED! I go to La Ventana, door has clear instead of rain glass! I say please call K, she didnt give you the right info, cant install tomorrow. W, La Ventana, used his cell phone to call, I emailed D & 3/22 job got rescheduled. 3/25 voicemail from D saying door installation 1012:30 on 3/31. 3/29 at 10am, I call La Ventana to confirm appt. Told appt was for 3/29 at 12:30! Had to reschedule my day. Much more to say, not enough room.

      In December 2020, my fianc ***** and I decided to renovate our bathroom. We did some research and contacted Luxury Bath based on the recommendation heard on a radio show. After filling out an online request for information, I was quickly contacted, and we made an appointment for a representative to meet with us at our home to discuss the renovation. *************************** met with us in our home. *** was extremely professional and polite. He was thorough in his presentation and answered any questions we had regarding the possible renovation. *** gave us great recommendations, but even more so, he gave us confidence in our choice to have Bath Planet complete our renovation. We decided to move forward with *** and Bath Planet on the spot and signed all the necessary paperwork. After much anticipation, we were contacted by ****** in March to schedule the renovation within the next week or so. ****** was also very friendly and professional; she did a great job keeping us informed and updated on the project. We scheduled the renovation to start on 3/18/21 and completed on 3/19/21. On Thursday, March 18th 2021, it was agreed I would be contacted by the contractor between 7:00-8:00 am to be advised that they would be over shortly. I did receive a call from ***** who immediately stated he was running late because he drove down from ******* the night prior, but his brakes gave out on his drive back from ******* to ***********. He said he would be at my home when he was done cleaning out his truck. ***** called me at about 9:20am saying he would be there within ***** minutes and showed up after 10am. This was my first impression of the contractor, and already I was a little frustrated with the miscommunication but looked past the tardiness. ***** then started the project once he arrived. He looked in our bathroom and confirmed that the project should take 2 days. ***** took a couple of hours to begin because he was on the phone with his boss due to the issue of a vent that was not taken into consideration at the time of the quote. He recommended that we lose the vent into the bathroom or else it would not look good, I decided to trust his opinion. It was agreed that he would then have to close off the vent. ***** had to rip down a small part of the wall and the current shower, by the end of the night our room and our home was a mess. ***** did not cover anything, which resulted in dust entering every room possible. Our bed, our clothes, and our room was filed with dust and it was very frustrating to have our home be so dirty. As ***** was finishing day one, he asked what time would be good for him to be there for day two. It was agreed that 7:00am would be a good starting time. ***** did not call me until 7:49am and stated how, apparently, he needed things from Lowes and that he was barley heading there now. ***** did not arrive at our home until 9:00 am, two hours passed the agreed upon time. Once ***** did arrive to the home, he begun immediately. Although he did not leave as much of a mess in our home on day 2, his workstation was a complete mess. He used our front yard for his equipment, and left trash in our front yard. ***** was realizing that the project was taking longer than expected and asked if it was okay for him to stay late so he can finish. We agreed, and he stayed until about 9:00pm. He stated that he would have to finish Saturday. He made sure to tell us that he does not typically work Saturdays, but he would be there to finish as if we should be extremely grateful for him to finish the project we are paying for. He asked what time Saturday he could come over; he told me the earlier the better. We agreed he would be there between 7:30am-8:00am. Saturday morning begin and I was ready for ***** at 7:30am. I finally received a call from him after 8:00am saying he would be there soon. Finally, ***** showed up at 9:00am. Day three took him a half-day but he finally finished the project. As he showed ***** the finished product, we were disappointed with the water pressure of the new shower head. We typically have good water pressure, but it seemed as if the water was only trickling out of the showerhead. ***** stated that thats just how that showerhead is, unfortunately. He then packed up his equipment, and before leaving he had ***** fill out a review to state that he completed the project. ***** stood over ***** the whole time and basically pressured him to put something in the comments of the project. He let ***** know that if we give him a good review, he gets a bonus. As ***** left our home, we noticed the mess in our front yard and the screws he left in the driveway.The majority of Jasons completed work came out decently. The shower installation itself looked good. One issue with the aesthetics of the project is the bar for the shower curtain. The one we originally ordered apparently was missing. ***** had to go to Lowes to get a replacement bar. The one he choose did not match at all what we ordered and does not match the rest of the installation. In addition, ***** installed the bar about 3-4 inches inwards of the shower. Our shower is already small, we lost 3-4 inches due to this mistake. Now as we shower, the curtain is right up against us. The function of the shower installation was a complete disappointment. Quickly we realized that the water pressure was extremely low compared to how it was prior. ***** was not happy about this and decided to take the showerhead out to see if there was anything that could be done. After removing the showerhead, it was clear that it was clogged with debris from the installation. After cleaning it out, the water pressure was amazing. ***** neglected to troubleshoot it and basically told us that we it was our decision to have that showerhead and it was the best it would be. Now that we had good water pressure, we noticed that the water was not draining properly. I had to start and stop the running water throughout my shower several times to prevent the water from overflowing. We could not even enjoy the new shower for the first 2-3 weeks. The next business day after the installation we called to Bath Planet to express our concerns. ******* took the call and stated that he was Jasons supervisor. He listened to my concerns and seemed empathetic. We provided pictures of the mess for ******* and sent them to his phone. He apologized for Jasons behavior and assured me that he would send over someone on that following Monday (March 29th) for a quality check, and to see if anything could be done about the curtain rod being installed too far in. ***** also called ******* to address his own concerns and asked about the $100 refund if the contractor is late that was stated on their website. ******* gave assurance to both of us that the problem would be fixed and that he would return our call that Friday (March 26th) regarding the refund. We did not receive a call Friday, March 26th. I took the day off on Monday, March 29th for the quality check and unfortunately, no one showed up on Monday nor did we get a call. We decided to call on Wednesday to see what the delay was. ******* seemed to have forgotten our issue and asked why we needed someone and what problems we were experiencing. He then promised that someone would be over sometime the following week to do the quality check and to fix the draining issue. As that next week approached, we called to confirm that someone when someone would be at our home. ***** spoke with ******* who stated someone would be there on Friday, April 9th, between 1:00-2:00pm. ***** took the day off and waited for this problem to be fixed. No one showed up, again. We contacted ******* who seemed confused and promised someone would be there soon. Then, we get a call from someone else at Bath Planet asking what time on Monday would work best for us. At our wits end, we did not schedule a time as we could not take off work again. We decided to contact a plumber ourselves to fix the clogged drain. Following our frustrating and disappointing experience, we decided to leave a negative review online for Bath Planet. We immediately received a response from *****. ***** listened to our concerns and stated she would get back to us once she spoke with upper management. We waited and waited, and ***** did not contact us on the days or times she states she would. We left an additional/updated review online and we were then contacted by upper management, the vice president. ****** contacted us to discuss our experience. He came to our home and performed a quality check. During this trip, we also pointed out that our drywall had been damaged due to the installation. ****** stated he would be sending over someone to fix the drywall, and then he would be having a meeting with all parties involved to discuss what had happened. ****** had stated that it was told to him that ******* did come to our home and perform a quality check. This is not true. ****** said ******* would most likely be written up for his lie. ****** did have someone come to our home and fix the drywall. We were pleased with that outcome. However, we were still upset about the treatment we received from his employees and the shower bar that we paid for but did not receive and the positioning of the bar. ****** said he would be in touch with us about that bar and with the outcome of the meeting. ****** did not follow up with us past this point. I attempted many times to call him and left messages for him. We were unable to speak on the phone, but he did leave a message saying that he spoke with ***** that gave the okay on everything. ***** did not give the okay, the conversation was pertaining to the drywall NOT the bar or the meeting. I attempted to explain this to ****** through a voicemail. In additional, ****** stated he spoke with ***** and gave a phone number for ***** that he apparently used to confirm everything, that number does not belong to either myself or *****. I tried explaining that to him as well, but never received a call back. Our experience with Bath Planet since the actual renovation has been frustrating and disappointing. One major reason we decided to have Bath Planet was their guarantee to their customers. On the website it stated that Bath Planet would be respectful to us, our time, our home, and our hard-earned money. ****** ******** and ****** did not respect us, our time, our home, or our hard-earned money. We did our due diligence as customers to try and contact upper management. We were extremely understanding and polite through the whole matter.***** and I are both hard-working, modest people. We were excited to finally do some renovations to our home. The price of the renovation was out of our budget but based on ***s presentation and our research of the company, we felt that the price was worth what we would be getting. I am unsure if we will get any response for this complaint, but I wanted to be sure that it is made aware of how they treat clients.

      My husband **** and I went with Bath Planet back in April. My husband had talked with a rep, ***** *. about doing drywall, a bathtub/shower combo, and tiling the floor. He was told verbally that this would be in the contract. The agreed upon pricing was 9500.Well, when he signed the contract, it was actually for a bathtub/shower install and tile install (we buy the tile) only. He didn't read what the rep, *****, had written. He just trusted that what he wrote down was what they had talked about.When another rep came to take pictures, he mentioned the drywall. We said we thought this was in the contract? He said no. He also stated that it will be a 10 week projected start date. We had already put down a 50% cash deposit at this point.We were able to negotiate with our rep, *****, but it took weeks! My husband was the one who had to keep calling him, and when he did finally reach him, he gave every excuse from a "tire blowout" to "death in the family".We finally were able to renegotiate and sign another contract. This time, they said that they would do the drywall and leave out the tile installation. We agreed to re-sign a new contract. Again, if we had decided to cancel with them, they would get to keep 3k of the money we already gave them.Well, we waited. Did not hear from the company until almost ten weeks later. Near the projected START DATE. The message we received was a phone call from a scheduler, ********. She called to say that the materials would not even **** until July 22. They then would need to be inspected, and that there is no projected start date yet. We signed the contract on April 13.Given the poor communication both with the initial contract, and not calling us about the delay until the projected start date, we want to go ahead and just pay the 3k to get out of the contract. My husband is going to talk to a rep in the cancelation department on Monday. He had tried yesterday, but big surprise, no one was there to speak with him that day. We are just so frustrated!Obviously we are paying 3k of our hard earned savings to a horrible company (we both work in Healthcare) for absolutely nothing in return, just the ability to leave! It is just so frustrating to blow that much money, but we are so scared that if we don't, thing will get way worse with them.
