I am a veteran and I use the VA ********* care. I went to them for cataracts and getting glasses. After several tests, I was sent to the lobby to wait 45 minutes for dilation. I was called back to see the doctor. He said he needed a different test, while I was getting that test across the hall... he told the assistant not to waste your time for extra tests on VA or ********* He said it isn't worth our time, so just don't them. I wanted glasses, but the person wasn't there and I could only come back on Monday. He said next time I could be seen in *******. I left without my cataracts being addressed. So frustrating to be treated this way.

I havew had 4 appts. with Fillmore Eye Clinic. First time - 8:15 am appt. Went right on in after an 8 min. wait.2nd trip - waited 38 min.3rd trip - waited 45 min.Today - 4th AND FINAL. Had an 8:15 am appt. Arrived at 8 am. At 9:15 I am still waiting and waiting. Approached desk and was told, "***************** do you not know you are in a providers office" Yes, whe n will they provide me with my 1+ hr. appt. I was told by the tall girl at the desk -- there is only 1 ahead of you and you are next. I know what a provider is, but right now they are not providing. I am a realtor and my time is my money, so please value it. I do your - that's why I made an appt. I also heard her tell someone who came into the office for their 8:30 am appt. that it would be about an hour and a half (she was giving instructions to the gentleman's driver.) RIDICULOUS! After waiting 1 hr. ************************** the back and called Retta's name and the shorter lady from the front desk appeared and when I ask how much longer, she stepped inside ***** office to the left (down the hallway to the 2nd holding tank) and she said ****************, your file is right here and you are next. I asked her how long -- she said you know we are a provider, don't you? I said Thanks for letting me know again. I walked back to the front desk and they still could not tell me how long I would have to wait, so I asked when is the best time to make an appt. to reduce time wasted on my end. She said 1st in am or first in pm. Told her I had already tried that a couple of times and that still does not work. The taller lady is rude, lacks caring and concern for patients, and is uncompassionate and does not know what customer service is. I suggest Dr. ********************** hold a training and teach the appt. makers how to make more effective appts. I plan to tell the world of this experience & I will NOT ever go back there. They just do not *********** for ZIP and it shows. I also called Dr. ********************** & left msg.
