My fiance and I recently had the pleasure of working with ***************************** at Circle Hyundai. From the moment we stepped onto the lot, her warmth and professionalism stood out.We are a family of 5. We have a teenage daughter, a growing p****** son, and a disabled daughter. Due to our daughgers disability she will need to be in a car seat for the foreseeable future. Having a 3rd row vehicle was imperative to us. We also preferred a vehicle with top of the line safety ratings. We decided that the **** Hyundai Santa Fe not only met, but exceeded all of our families expectations.Heres why ***** deserves all the accolades:ATTENTIVENESS AND PATIENCE:***** took the time to understand our needs, preferences, and budget. She patiently answered our questions, never ******* or pressuring us.EXPERTISE:Her knowledge of the vehicles was impressive. She explained features, safety ratings, and performance details with clarity. We felt confident in our choices.GENUINE CARE:***** went above and beyond. She offered us a bottle of water during the test drive and ensured we were comfortable throughout the process.SMOOTH NEGOTIATIONS:Negotiating can be stressful, but ***** made it seamless. Her transparency and honesty were refreshing.AFTER-SALE SUPPORT:Even after the purchase, she followed up to ensure everything was going well. That level of commitment is rare and appreciated. In summary, ***** transformed what could have been a stressful transaction into a delightful experience. If youre looking for a car, seek her outyou wont be disappointed!Thank you, *****, for making our car-buying journey extraordinary. For once, we are looking forward to driving down to ******* for Spring Break. Youre a true asset to the dealership! If you're in the market for a new vehicle, do yourself a favor and seek out *****************************, as she is top-notch.Thank you, *****! You helped give our family peace of mind. You can't put a price on that! We are so thankful for all of your help.Review from George D

This has to be one of the worst Chevrolet dealers on the east coast. I would never ever come back to this dealership again. If there was a negative star rating, this would be the place.Review from M. C.

Awful. Disgusting. The way I was treated should be illegal. The law should allow for them to be charged with assault and possibly theft.(Should allow for zero stars)Circle Chevrolet Response

Thank you for allow us to respond to **************. ************** came in on 6/20 and on 3 other occasions. She had a payment requirement $350. We were able to keep her payment at $359 which she accepted. We needed to purchase her lease and provide an equity check for $8,000. The customer spoke to her husband or someone about her purchase for extended amount of time. She came back into the dealership and said that she was going to move forward with the offer we provided. We completed the transaction and everything seemed good. The following day ************** came to the dealership to return the vehicle but would not come into the dealership. The finance manger came out and spoke with ************** and explained the return process and Hyundai Assurance. After some time on the phone with her husband, She chose to stay in her current vehicle. We provided her the $8,000 equity check before the car was even purchased from ************ credit. We tried very hard to meet the customers expectations. The only item of contention was a equity quote the customer received from a **** dealership that we couldn't match but we were clear on our offer and the customer chose to accept the offer we provided. We don't understand the aggressive complaint. We have over 4 hours of footage of her visits at the dealership no one was aggressive with **************. ************** stood most of the time while talking to the salesperson and she was on the phone speaking about her purchase with we assume her husband. She then completed her paperwork with our finance staff and we were willing to take back her vehicle when she requested us to. We're frustrated and confused on this complaint. We are very concerned at her accusations but we don't have any evidence of her complaint. We would like to resolve her concerns.Customer Response

On June 22, 2022 I went into Circle Hyundai, **********, ** to test drive a Hyundai Kona. The Sales Professional I was speaking with was ********************************. I had a 2020 Lexus NX, which lease was going to expire in early December. I was exploring my end of lease options. ***************************** was well aware I was speaking to multiple dealerships of all brands and even considering paying off the Lexus myself. I first met with him a day or two before the test drive where he examined and photographed the Lexus NX.Having no intention of making a decision in the moment, I drove a different car to Circle Hyundai to test drive the Hyundai Kona. I actually didnt like the Kona I test drove on the road. ***************************** brought out another Kona model which I was not able to take out on the road but was allowed to drive around the Circle Hyundai parking lot. The second test drive was a much better experience.***************************** and I were discussing what would be his best offer. He was asking questions about my financial details. I stated I received Social Security and was not currently working. He offered to payoff the Lexus lease, give me a check for the equity and offered a lease on the Kona. The numbers werent exactly what I was hoping for but after some back and forth he came up with some numbers that I thought might be doable. When the numbers were agreed upon as being his best offer, I made it clear that I wanted to follow up with the Lexus and one of the **** dealers and I could come back the following day. It was previously stated, I wasnt in a hurry because I had until December to make a decision. He made his excuses as to why I shouldnt leave yet. I told him it was late, I was tired and I needed to go home. Again, he made his excuses for why I shouldnt leave. I told him I was hungry and needed to go get something to eat. I told him I could come back later or in the morning but that I needed to go. He offered to get me something to eat. I believe he said, You want food, I can get you some food. I said no, I wanted to go home. I said I needed to go home to get the Lexus anyway. I needed to go home. He suggested a swapping of cars that I didnt even understand at the time. I said I needed to go home. This back and forth continued for sometime.I am a 51 year old female with PTSD. I did not specifically tell him I had PTSD, but he was well aware that I was not currently working and that I received Social Security. After this had continued for awhile, I started breaking down. I was standing in front of him crying and having trouble breathing. I was in a full blown meltdown and he just continued. While crying I stated multiple times, this is why Im not working. I remember saying it over and over again. I called my husband, who was trying to calm me down. ***************************** got me on the phone with my insurance carrier. I had the insurance company on one phone which ***************************** handed me while I was still on my cell phone with my husband trying to help me calm down and breathe. I was walking in and out of the dealership trying to get fresh air to breathe. The more I seemed to cry to fast he seemed to work and move things through. He brought me into the person who handles the signing of the contracts. I dont know if I was ever told his name. If I was, I dont remember it. I was never allowed to look at the contract as it was on an iPad. I never saw the **** (actually, I still havent). I was crying to the point I couldnt see clearly anyway. I couldnt have read a thing. He pointed out were to sign and just scrolled through the pages on the iPad saying tap here and tap here and so on. He asked me what was wrong and I very clearly stated, I dont want to be doing this. He asked why. He stated it was a great car. The more I melted down the faster he scrolled through the iPad. I was certainly not in a competent state of mind.Next thing I know, Im finally driving home. Its dark out. Its late. ***************************** is following me home driving the car I supposedly just leased. He parked in front of my house. Walked up by driveway. Changed the license plates on the Lexus and drove away. The next morning was the first time I looked at the contract. I couldnt comprehend anything I was seeing. I was trying to also comprehend how horribly I was treated and how traumatized I was from the night before. I felt as if I had been assaulted. I didnt know what to do.I drove back to the dealership and asked to speak with the General Manager. ***************************** was not there. The General Manager came outside to talk to me. I think he introduced himself, but I dont remember his name. I tried to explain what had happened the night before. I had trouble explaining because I was once again breaking down. I was trying to tell him I wasnt in any state of mind to sign any sort of contract that could be legally binding. He stated he wasnt there so wasnt aware of what happened but there was nothing he could. It all happened end of day the night before and they have now just opened the next morning. I asked him to take it back and make it all go away. He got me a cold bottle of water. He got a parking sticker out of the Lexus that had been left and gave me a copy of the check promise they were going to owe me but also reminded me the check back would take a week or so to get the check cut. He told me about the Hyundai Assurance Deal. That he could not take the car back but with the Hyundai Assurance I could exchange the car but that the monthly lease payments would most likely change. I reiterated to him that I can handle making a bad financial deal, but I could not deal with the trauma it had all caused. I asked him to talk to his staff. I told him, the way I was treated was not okay. I told him that it was literally inhumane. I have no idea if he ever did talk to his staff. I got the feeling he was going back in to high five his staff for closing a deal.I know he knew it was wrong when later that day I got a call that the check was cut and ready for pickup. This is the check that ***************************** and the General Manager told me would take a week or so. How is it that it got done within hours? The following day I got another call saying that the plates and registration were in. I have never in my life seen a dealer get the plates and registration done in 24 hours. My experience has always been that the usually take about 2 weeks.I dont know how many weeks later it was, when my husband went in to pickup the check, the plates and the registration. The trauma was to much for me to back to Circle Hyundai. The car has not been driven much as the trauma is to great.By the way my monthly payment is now $375 not $359 as they have stated.Circle Chevrolet Response

We're sorry you suffer from a mental illness. We really don't know how to respond on a public forum to your aggressive accusations. Our goal was to earn a customer and not create an incident.Customer Response

Are you serious? PTSD or not, it doesnt matter. Here are the facts1. When a customer states they need to go home - you let them leave 2. If a customer starts crying - all negotiations need to stop immediately 3. If a customer states they do not want to sign a contract - you under NO circumstances push that contract through 4. If a customer is not in a competent emotional state and cannot review the contract before signing - Again, you under NO circumstances push that contract through You call my accusations aggressive. Do you not think your sales people were ****** aggressive? You say your goal was to earn a customer. To do that you need to show empathy and compassion. You do NOT force your product on them. Your staff showed zero moral compass. If you condone these types of sales practices, you are disgusting and equally to blame. Do any of you have an inkling of a moral compass? The sad thing is, if I left to go home when I first wanted to, I may have come back on my own free will and I just might have loved this car. Instead, I hate this car and Hyundai has lost this customer for life.Im not asking you for anything. My hope is that no one ever experiences the abuse I felt. And yes, I stand by my original review. It absolutely should be illegal.
