    my daughter, **** *******, who was enrolled at the Morris Plains location of Arya Dance Academy from June 2024 to December 2024. Following her recital on December 7, 2024, we decided to discontinue her classes.

    We made several attempts to communicate our decision through various channels, including phone calls, text messages, the academy's website, and WhatsApp conversations with Bhavna. As per her advice, I also sent emails to ********@********.com and *******@********.com on January 16, 2025, and February 4, 2025. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response to either email. Despite our efforts to inform the academy of our intention to discontinue ****'s classes, we have been incorrectly charged for December, January, February, and March. On April 2 nd I received an email from a lady called Richa from Arya dance academy that I would receive a refund of 320$ by end of April . I emailed them again at the end of April and made attempts to to call them but received no response.

    Arya Dance Academy demonsrated a disinterest in charging customers the correct amount and a a clear willingness to "run out the clock", primising me a refund on multiple occasions, but not issuing it.
    * In early January 2025, my wife and I agreed to host the classes in our basement temporarily because the academy indicaed they could not afford a venue anymore. In return for using our basement, they offered us a discount of one of our 2 kids free.
    * in early February I noticed several giant charges on my credit card by Arya.
    * I contatced them on Feb 3rd 2025, complaining of a $450 overcharge.
    * They initially did not agree that there was a mistake, but after I ultimately found that there were 3 errors: 1) discount for my trial period had been forgotten, 2) discount for offering my basement had been forgotten 3) An apparent double charge in January.
    * After some back and forth, I agreed that the actual overcharge was actualy just $400.
    * At this point they said they would get back to me, but instead began ignoring my emails.
    * On March 12th I informed them that we would no longer host classes.
    * On March 14th I received an email that "The refund will be done this week"
    * On March 17th, the instructor showed up at my house anyway. There was a perception that I could be pressured into opening up my house again thanks to the supposed promise of a refund. I told them "no" and sent them away
    *Classes are now cancelled, but the refund is still pending.
    * I was told again on March 30th that "I will get my refund"
    * but there is still silence from them and no refund. I am convinced that their business model includes taking advantage of these situations.
    * I now expect them to refund just $360 because we sent our kids to class for half of March and did not pay.

    I have invested $10000 in Arya Dance Academy as part of investment opportunity they provided, please check attached promissory note. Once academy was due for paying interest and original investment, they stopped responding to my email, phone calls and text messages. I have also mailed them and emailed Demand letter for making a payment. Owner Rupal P**** is the one managing all transactions and she signed the note.

    Signed my daughter up for dance classes through this company. It was marketed as dance classes in a studio. Not enough children signed up, therefore they wanted to hold classes at someone's home. I declined and asked for a refund. They stated I will get a full refund. Payment was made September 5th 2023 for the amount of $290. I habe texts messages and emails as proof the company stated they will provide a full refund. As of November 3, 2023, no refund and continue to get the run around. No refund provided.
