******************* (**************, **)A year at this place was way too long. Ive had enough. All of the comments on this page mentioned DRUGS, theyre not lying. A brand new apartment building, but you have people who dont respect the property. From smoking weed to cigarettes but if you complain youre the problem. This low budget, only one full bathroom having, drug infested place is not worth the cost, it would be wise to go and rent a house if you cant buy a house.The property manager allowed all of his ghetto friends priority to move in. Theres a company truck on the property but you have they have other cars towed.There have been spiders, two black widow spiders were at my front door. People dont have their dogs on a leash.This place is out of control, I have no other choice but to contact the housing authority or a lawyer. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I rent from this company.Review from Trisha L

Never in my life have I myself experienced and been a witness to the complete lack of professionalism, common courtesy, dignity, kindness, and respect (..and the list goes on) towards another human being. Conifer, LLC (right on down to the Property Managers and Maintenance) is an entity made from nothing but greed and never paying attention to the needs of the people who they serve.Review from Cynthia W

Coniferllc property Twin Oaks Apartment in ********* ** Note to people PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM ************** Coniferllc.The worst management company in the country The building Twin Oaks is a nice building by itself but the ****************** is the worst management company and i hope people trying to rent from their building and the investors will stay away from this property management. They cannot retain property manager on site and same with super. They could not get it right hiring the right person to put the nice property in a good place On a unit that is over 100 units, there is no property manager on site, no superintendent on site and the building has no one to talk to about issues as the phone calls go through and no one to speak to The building is now being turned to a drug dealing property as you see people doing drug business and drinking alcohol openly in the parking lot with no care for the people who live there. Despite No Smoking policy in the building, tenants smoke weed all over the building. In the lobby, elevator and by the entrance to the building and there is no one to address this issue since because there is no building manager. Even when there was one, they did nothing but told you to call the police. What a pathetic response. The management does nothing about this drug issue going on in the building as long as the drug head rent is being paid to them through their program or Section 8. Majority of decent working class people that live there are now moving out in droves because of the drug head/unruly people moving into the building. What a shame that such a beautiful building is now being turned to a drug dealing and mice infestation building and the management is turning their eyes away from this kind of situation The property has mice infestation because the building is not been cleaned up properly The elevator has been broken for over a week and my mother is an old woman who has been forced to stay indoorReview from Andrea C

They have rules when seniors rent from them and they don't enforce them. A smoke free building but people smoke dope in their apts. I moved out after getting worst with my asthma, and they still owe me $39.00 for 3 months now. They think they are above the law. I wouldn't recommend any of their properties to rent. They are crooks and ***** helped them get were they are. It's a lie not affordable housing.And I didn't want to leave a star.Review from Jennifer P

I would absolutely love to request a serious investigation on Conifer Realty LLC corporation headquarters in ********* ** and Tioga View Apartments in ***************************** for the complaint of financial fraud, toxic micromanagement and discrimination against the people who have disabilities and neglecting elderly abuse without a home health care agency. Overcharging the monthly rent yet I was forced to pay a court fine for $249 "delinquency" for questioning the landlord about my extra rent money.Review from Jessica G

I would never recommend this ************* to anyone unless you want to be homeless. We had paid our security deposit, first month's rent, via two separate cashier's checks as requested, and all we keep getting is a continuous extension - push back on when we can move in. We were informed by property management it's November, then its December, now its January. We never even signed a lease, got no keys, got no letter in the mail on where our deposit is no nothing. How is that even possible? I was not aware of any landlord or entity being able to accept a security deposit without a lease. Sounds like a liability lawsuit waiting to happen. We have contacted management, and no one answers nor responds via email.Review from Diana M

I live in ************ Apartments in ************** **. This place has been taken over by drug addicts/dealers and smokers and other assorted miscreants. This complex is own by the Conifer branch in *********, **.The no smoking policy is NEVER enforced. One particular tenant who's been making way too much noise, does drugs and otherwise caused trouble scared my now-former next door neighbor out after she was here for just a few months. She lived underneath his apartment. Eviction proceedings should have started long ago and imho, management is using the pandemic to avoid going through the hassles and costs associated with taking that action.There are other tenants in other buildings that have been causing trouble - so much that some of us - myself included - have purchased security cameras at our own expense. Conifer refused to reimburse us.The quality of renovations done at this complex in 2016 were shoddy. My carpeting is cheap and stains easily. I can't get stains out even with my ****** Smartwash. There are ripples all over my apartment and as for the rubber strips that go across the threshhold where the carpeting and linoleum meet, they fell apart BEFORE the pandemic and were never fixed. I've been forced to use duct tape to cover them up so my cat won't cut his feet on them.I have a very large hole in my tub faucet that's been there since before the pandemic and long before the renovation. I was NEVER given a new tub or faucet. The finish on all the cabinets are wearing off and the paint job is shabby. The trouble making tenants in my building have caused so much commotion that I've been forced to wear a GoPro camera on my person even when I just take out the trash or check mail. I am scared every time I have to leave my apartment, even if it's just for a few minutes.Needless to say, the quality of life has gone downhill at ************ and I'm putting in applications all over the county. I hope that Conifer won't give me a hard time when I move, and I don't want them to give me a bad rating for complaining about this place. The conditions here are so bad that our Community Manager quit a few months ago and our Maintenance Supervisor quit last week.Btw, Conifer won't let me comment on its ******** page. I can still see it but I can't post to it. Conifer has me totally blocked on ******************************* Multi-family Housing has been notified of my complaints and so has my case manager, among others. Please pray for me, that I can get out of here asap. My mental and physical health has gone way downhill thanks to Conifer. Thank you.Review from Dennis B

Hello, I am an 81 year old senior living at one of the Conifer Realty properties in ****** **********. I live in *************. There has been a deficiency in how management responds to emergencies, plumbing, minor incidents like changing a bulb in the apartment for my safety. My vision is poor and I have no one to rely on but myself. The service towards seniors has gotten worse in the past 2 years that I have occupied this dwelling. I have spoken to other seniors and they have the same issues, even worst, drug dealers and thugs in the neighborhood have been entering the building unannounced and destroying property. Most of us here are disabled, have poor vision and use adapted equipment to get around. We are begging the Better Business Bureau to investigate these issues as we can not seem to get any help from community leaders. We are afraid for our safety and quality of life. It is a crying shame that we as seniors are daily tormented by the surrounding elements that plague all communities, we are just asking for some independent agency to get to the bottom of this serious issue of safety and security.Review from Rita R.

I am a 77 year old person, I lived at Conifer Village in **********, **. I had to find an apartment that was for seniors with **********. I told management and was even on a 6 month lease for the last 2 years. I was called by one of the places in January of this year. I called the manager to tell him that I would be moving on March 1. He told me that I would have to pay rent for March as I didn't give him 60 notice. It lacked a little over a week of being 60 days. I called him back and told him that I would be moving on March 7, instead. He also told me that if he rented my apartment by the 15th of March, that my rent would be prorated and I would receive the rest of the rent. Which never happened, he said he couldn't rent it by then. I had also signed up for my rent to be taken out of my bank account each month. When I moved, the manager forgot to tell the main office that I had moved and in April they tried to take my rent out. I found out about it and called my bank and the transaction was reversed. I later got a call from ****, the manager at ********** telling me that I may or may not be getting a letter saying that I owed them $40.00 for the charge from their bank and that I didn't owe that money and that I would be receiving my deposit back. That was 2 weeks ago, I still haven't received it, I called today and he told me that because of the mix up with the rent in April, it is taking longer and I should be receiving my money either by the end of this week or the middle of next. I feel like I am being punished for something that I had nothing to do with. It was the manager of the ********** office that **** up, not me. This company is not to be trusted. I wouldn't recommed these apartments to anyone."
