Purchased a 2013 VW Tiguan for $13,000 cash on July 11,2022. Drive 7 miles home and start the car to drive to work the next day. The oil pressure low and check engine lights alert advising to shut down the engine that it wasnt safe to drive. Contacted the dealership right away. Was told to bring it in the next day and they were going to fix the issue. They replaced a part and two days later I picked the car back up. Pulled out of the shop and the light illuminated again. Drive back to the dealer auto shop (across the street from the dealership) and they ran the code. They said they were ordering parts and would fix right away. They had me drive the broke car until July 28th where I dropped it off for repair. I went without a vehicle for weeks, called multiple times for a loaner car while they repaired said issue. Given a car (a whole other issue) for a couple of weeks. And was told to come get my car a month later on august 31st. In the mean time had to call multiple times checking on status and requesting updates. Have asked for a refund day one of the issue which was day one or purchase. Instead they advised they were fixing the car. As soon as I picked up the car (mind you Ive had to get rides back and forth every time) I drive 20 feet and the oil pressure light alerts again shutting the car to half power. Swiftly went back around the u-turn for review. Was advised to keep the car until they can get a new part. Dropped the car sept 7th which was the last time Ive seen the car. Ive driven it maybe 3 weeks total in 6 months time. I was advised there is another issue or working on it or defective parts for 6 months of my life. Frequently going without transportation and caused to beg and borrow and pay for rides. They have the money and are dragging out the repair to my detriment. When I picked the car off the lot they advised they replaced the timing belt and oil pan so I believe they knew there was an oil issue from the start. Fraudulently sold this car
