On July 2nd 2021 I purchased an Ibanez JS1CR guitar for $3750 to include delivery (Order#*********).Prymaxe initially informed me that there would be a few months wait due to covid related supply chain issues. On September 1st I requested an update and was told by sales representative ****** that the new expected delivery date was "in the first quarter of 2022".I requested an update on February 11th 2022 and was told by a sales associate that "order # ********* is expected to ship from the manufacturer during the month of March (2022)".In April of 2022 I inquired again and was now informed "The product will be available by quarter 1 or quarter 2 of 2023".My most recent inquiries yielded the following response from Prymaxe representatives:"Sorry for keeping you on hold for so long. The manufacturer told us recently that they won't be making this guitar anymore, which was scheduled to arrive in 2023. I apologize for the trouble it caused you. If you're interested in getting some other Ibanez guitar we have in stock, we can issue you a store credit with no expiration date. Let me know what you think, sorry again for the wait.Regards,****."From my perspective this has become an extension of credit to this business at my expense. Prymaxe makes it clear at the time of order, that if I chose to cancel the order, I would be penalized by not receiving a refund but store credit. However, if they are unable to fulfill the sales contract, what is a similar fair penalty against the merchant? On My 24th, I proposed to Prymaxe the following settlement:1. Provide me with an Ibanez JS3CR (the current equivalent Ibanez model) in a timely fashion.2. A cash refund at 15% interest compounded of $5091 (in line with current average SBA rates per bankrate.com, for the time period credit has been extended).3. $6000 in Prymaxe store credit (as store credit is not equal to cash, and Prymaxe's fulfillment risk is high). As of today I have not received a response.

We tried buying a guitar in January never received it. After months of the company saying they would get the guitar to us soon, we finally canceled our order and we are having an extremely hard time working with customer service getting a refund. They keep saying they refunded us, but we never received it and they refuse to send us proof of the refund. **************** chat and email has been giving us the run around for 2 weeks. I have tried every phone number I can find for Prymaxe and no phone number will work. The only ways they will speak with anyone is by their chat feature and email. We are getting nowhere and no one from Prymaxe will help with our refund. Order #*********

On Dec. 13, 2020, I purchased a Moog Claravox Centennial theremin from Prymaxe (order #*********), an authorized Moog Music dealer. As of today, July 23, 2021, the instrument still has not been delivered. Prymaxe has never contacted me about any updates EXCEPT when I have contacted them first. They have also told me, multiple times, that they’ll get back to me and then they don’t. I paid a total of $1433.62 for the instrument ($1399.45 to Prymaxe and the remainder for a 3rd party loan). Moog stated emphatically and across multiple forums, articles, press releases, etc. that the instrument would be delivered by the end of December 2020. Two days after I paid for the instrument, other dealers notified their customers that Moog had announced a “delay” due to an “overwhelming” response. No word from Prymaxe. Since then, Prymaxe claims they will keep me informed – they do not. They’ve again promised to get back to me this week and failed to do so. Not enough room for more information.

I placed a $675.68 order at Prymaxe.com for a synthesizer processor on 3/31/2021 which was described as pre-order at the time, but Prymaxe charged my card within days of the order. I have not heard any updates regarding this order for 6 weeks, then contacted sales requesting either delivery within a week or full refund to the credit card. Prymaxe response was that delivery may take up to 4months or they can issue a store credit referring to the store policy. I don't want my money to be locked in the store refund since the cancellation request was not because I don't want my order but because Prymaxe failure to deliver withing reasonable time, such as 30 days. In the meantime Prymaxe has a free loan in the above stated amount w/o my consent. Unfortunately this was 3rd time when Prymaxe instantly charged my card for purchases and held the funds between over a month and 2 months claiming difficulties with vendors and w/o providing estimates of delivery time orI asking my consent to wait.
