Timeline of events for *********************************************************** closing In mid July I put the townhouse on the market with ******************* from ************* Realtor. Within a week it was under contract with a couple that lived in the complex who were looking to upgrade their living space. The couples name is ****** and (husband) *****. ****** is in the real estate business and recommended the Title Company, ****** Title. ************************* is the *** of the company. ******* is a *** company and needed to find an affiliate with which to work that was in **********. ********************* served as the Signature Settlement and Title Agency LLC as settlement Agent for ******* Title. ************************************* was ****** supervisor and was also on many email chains towards the end.**** Moderna from **************** was chosen as my lawyer for the deal on July 25. On August 22, **** contacted me and asked for a photo of my drivers license and a picture of one of my checks from Chase where I bank. I took them and sent them to her. She then sent them to ********************* so that he could begin the process of setting up the wire transfer. On August 31, at closing, all papers were signed and handed over. On September 1, I kept checking with my bank and with **** to understand where the money was.On September 2 we determined that the Title Company was hacked and the funds did not come into my account.It should be noted that the money to the lender for my home did go to the lender. Only my proceeds of about $343,000 did not come into my account.I need to get my funds back and have the Title Company settle this internally. It has been over a month and no resolution
