Date of transaction: 12/16/2021 RAData LLC is a well water testing company. I hired them to test my well for a real estate transaction sale. When my results came in it showed that my water failed for the presence of coli form and for a pH issue. Immediately following that email they sent me a estimate for what it would cost to remediate these two issues. The quote was for around $3,000 and they kept sending me follow up emails trying to get me to hire them to install the equipment. I found this to be very sketchy. No company should do testing and remediation as that is a huge conflict of interest so I hired a different company to give me a second opinion. Of course my water results came back indicating that there was in fact no coli form present and my pH levels fell within the normal range. I truly believe this company lies to their consumers and fails the water tests so they can sell them equipment to remediate and make money on both transactions. They charged me $1,225 to test the water so they could lie about the results and try and get me for another $3,000. I am a real estate agent and I have seen multiple transactions where this company was used and the water always seems to fail. They should be investigated

      Dear ********************************,

I am writing you back in good faith and in transparency to properly address the concerns you have expressed. I can assure you that RAdata is a legitimate business that has been helping homeowners and building owners with indoor air quality and water quality for over 35 years.  We are a NJ state OQA ******* of ****************** certified laboratory for both drinking water and for radon in both air and water.  ** OQA performs routine, in-depth onsite inspections of all certified laboratories. We also give back to our Industry by providing continuing education classes, participating on boards and committees for National Standards, auditing standards in development, volunteering for the ** Chapter of the ******************** of ***** Scientists and Technologists, attending National Conferences for both ***** and Water Quality, and doing public education and outreach. We were able to establish our brand and those relationships by continuously staying up to date with and meeting state regulations and national standards over the past 35 years in business. We hold a laboratory license in almost every state in the country.

Please be advised the way ***** are constructed and well pipes are in the ground, oftentimes when it rains, water can leak down the well and can contaminate the aquifer with coliform. When water is sampled, the sample collected, will reflect what is in the water at the time the sample is taken and because it is not a constant and is affected by other things, you can resample water make no changes in the water and get a different test result. In addition, pH and Coliform levels can change and fluctuate but I am curious to see the results you are referencing in the retest and the difference in levels. The coliform and pH results showed present in the water and your pH results showed to be just below the acceptable range. But again, both of those contaminants when tested can change because water is not a constant. Essentially you could retest the coliform and the pH again and get another passing result or another failure. pH is tested onsite by the certified laboratorys technician using a pH meter that is calibrated every morning. In addition, the field technician checks every 3 hours while out to make sure this meter is still calibrated correctly. Therefore, giving us the ability to get very accurate results at the time of sampling. However,I do not see that you have given us any attachments or proof of certified lab results supporting your claim.

In order to evaluate your concerns, please send us a copy of the state certified outside labs full PWTA test report as well as any supplementary reports in relation to the water.

We care deeply about our reputation and would never falsify results and jeopardize our license which has allowed us to successfully be in business for over ********************************************************************************************************** hopes to potentially earn your business if you decide to hire our company to do the water treatment.

Please know RAdata works with many people who are selling their homes.  Most require an immediate remediation or information to help close their home sale.  While we do install water treatment systems and provide an estimate to do so it is meant as an aid for the sale of a home, so we operate with that high sense of urgency in mind. Our software program does send out an automated reminder email for any open estimates in our system. We do this as a courtesy for our customers to provide them guidance in making the right decisions to facilitate the closing. Most customers will call in after receiving this email for guidance to discuss state guidelines for treatment and/or retesting when appropriate. We apologize if you found this to be less than helpful.

We appreciate all the business given and will evaluate your concerns with a high level of urgency. Please forward the passing test results you have referenced as being a problem.
